Hayward This custom home has recessed panel wainscoting, vaulted ceiling 3 piece crown, and rope lights hidden in the hanging crown. Decorative Niches and corbels accented the architecture. Fremont Stain-grade beech wood was used to outfit this library with 7 foot tall wainscoting. Custom doors and cabinet doors were made, as well as an integrated staircase.

Atherton Many columns in this home gave the foyer a grand feeling, along with the hanging crown accented with rope lights.
I desired that elegant finishing touch wide crown molding would bring my ceilings. There was no way I was letting my husband try to install it on our very high, awkward angled ceilings. Bay Area Molding was up for the task including many choices available and accomplishing it PERFECTLY. Bobby also suggested molding ideas to dress up my skylights.

This is a follow up for Bobby: look at what I was told to tell the person- rough opening 66 1//2 x 82.
BTW the salesperson told me to just call him and give him the measurements which I did. He said he would have the paperwork ready when I can in. Since I was a referral by a so called friend of Brian, I didn't think I needed to double check things. Nice way to treat referrals.

Fantastic service! We replaced all of our doors. One door was every so slightly off on a measurement (not detrimental to its functionality, but more of an unexpected annoyance), so the installer sent it back to the shop for the slight fix. Door came back the next day with no further issues. Installation was exactly as I was told with regard to timeframe expectations. Employees - from owning family to individual installers - seek to make sure the customer is satisfied with the job.

We recently had Bay Area Molding and Door replace five pocket doors, seven hinged doors and sliding hall closet doors. Our house was built in the 60's and all the doors were flat faced which definitely needed an upgrade. Jon spent a lot of time with us going over our options and making suggestions about our pocket doors one of which is seven feet tall. We had all of our interior doors replaced. Joe did a great job installing. He was very courteous and friendly and a hard worker. You can tell he wanted to do a good job for us. Jon provided us a quote over the phone and it didn't change once he came to the house to measure and write a formal written estimate. Jon and Joe were very pleasant to deal with. I would recommend to others and will give Jon's contact info to any family or friends looking for new door installation.

After getting our popcorn ceiling removed, we felt it might be time for crown molding. We called two places, and although they were a bit higher in price, Jon and Tom with their detail and suggestions won the bid. So glad we choose them. Tom is so detailed oriented, we are in awe of how nice it looks. Even a contractor friend of ours came by and marveled at how nice the corners looked, given how difficult it is to miter corners. Had to get one of my old flat panel doors replaced. Stopped in the office brought my old door. Received quick servicewomen place and order. Up front they let me know it would be a couple weeks. I was not in a rush a d really wanted to support local and small business. Had a replaced door back to me in the time frame they told me. Brought it home. They even gave me new hinges. Prior to COVID, I knew replacing the interior doors and frames was next on my fix-it list, so being home all the time and hearing noise through the doors pushed me to start calling around. I called 2 other places who only replaced the doors itself, not the frames, which wasn't what I needed because the frames were dinged and dented from remodeling over the years. I tried contacting another location who understandably was having trouble maintaining their business during the pandemic, but nonetheless, I couldn't effectively communicate because it would take a week to get any reply, and

We have chosen the Milgard windows and patio doors with the help from another shop in Union City, when a friend referred us to Bay Area Molding, we came in for a quote and indeed they are more competitive. For a five digit size order, every bit helps, so we went with Jessica without thinking too much. The windows came and after the contractor had installed them, they told us:
- the 7 foot window glass is not tempered
- the patio French doors had sliding door screens

This is the best please for any molding.
They r all so nice and very helpful.
Turn around time is fast.
I struggled looking for a place but was referred by a friend and now go for all molding, door fixtures and even for medallions. I bought really nice chandeliers and the medallions I bought were perfect.
