Fox Furniture in Venice, Florida is a full line furniture store specializing in upholstery, bedroom, living room, dining room, and mattresses. Our owner, Tom Fox, started the business as a teenager in 1961 with the help of his father. Originally located on the Island of Venice, we ultimately settled down in our current facility which was constructed in 1973. It is a 15,000 square foot building with an 8,000 square foot warehouse next door.
We have a free local delivery service for customers living in Venice, Englewood, North Port, Nokomis, and Osprey. We only charge a $40 fee for deliveries to Sarasota and Port Charlotte. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, debit card, check, and cash. We offer customized orders since we respect and appreciate the unique preferences of every customer.

We've been purchasing furniture from Fox on and off for a number of years. Very nice working with a local retailer, a family business and family members, that have a long history within our community. Fox provides Quality furniture at a fair price, the friendly professional oh, and they also deliver.

I have purchased several pieces from Fox. It’s worth the drive from Sarasota. But, i must warn you about their recliners. When i told them i needed a new recliner, the “Chair Whisperer” approached me and told me to “try all of them (huge selection) but you will buy this one” and pointed to a particular chair. Of course, I wanted to prove her wrong but kept coming back to the suggested chair. It was not the most expensive and didn’t really stand out as “special”.
