Chattanooga Landscape Design is an excellent gardening and landscape design company. When they started working with my space, I had a backyard full of weeds and garbage. But in just a blink of an eye, I had an attractive outdoor space that I and my family now use as our living room when the weather allows. It is magical and beautiful!

Please do not hire this man. he is a scam artist. Channel 9 even did an investigative report when he suddenly left town with multiple unfinished jobs. he even falsely displays better business bureau logo.

We are in the process of pursuing litigation for a refund of the 20k we paid down on a pool that never happened. He will not return calls or emails- after weeks of no contact. We heard that he was slow but good- we are beyond frustrated with the entire situation.

I would like to echo the people below in order to provide a balanced review of this company. Unfortunately we were lured into having a porch constructed because of what seemed to be a collection of excellent reviews on google Facebook and yelp. Our story is almost identical to Christy's below. The project started and we got about 75% of a screened… porch completed and then everything just stopped. There is not a huge amount of work to be done to finish but apparently it isn't worth doing. Now we are stuck with a contract which we signed with James that somewhat limits our ability to get

I would suggest that you seek any and all opportunities for a land/pool design contractor other than Chattanooga Land Design. My experience with them has been awful and seems to be bordering on a “bait and switch” scam.
I first contacted them through their website in mid-May. They were prompt in returning my email request and scheduled a visit to… our property within a week. James arrived as scheduled, a little late, but he did call to let us know he would be late. This was the first and only time he met his commitment as to timing. Scam artist! Rule of thumb, never pay anyone for an estimate. I did and it was a mistake. They came out, took some measurements and I have never heard back. Conveniently they don't return calls or emails. There are other contractors that are more than willing to do quality work. Avoid this business!!!

Had them come out to look at our property for a lot of future work. We wanted to get a quote and plan ready for building a deck and patio area as well as a fence, front porch steps, and driveway area. Paid my $75 consultation fee to have someone come and take a look. In the end, it seems that what they really wanted was the $750 computer design fee to make a computer mock up of what my property could look like. Asked for a quote to start on the fencing and front porch steps. No response at all and it has been a month. Essentially, I paid $75 for someone to come and visit me for 15 minutes with

We had Chattanooga Land Design do a courtyard with flagstone floor and ledge stone walls with lights. They also did beautiful landscaping. We wanted a backyard oasis and that is precisely what we got. James listened to what we wanted and designed it perfectly. The 3-D video tour of the design looks EXACTLY like the finished project. James, his crew and subcontractors were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Not cheap, but it doesn't look it either. If you want quality Chattanooga Land Design is definitely the way to go. We couldn't be happier.
