Our new fireplace, which Mike and crew put in, works really well. He researched what models would fit in the space to replace the old one we had that was worn out. Rocky Mountain S. & F. finished in one day and cleaned up everything. They're a good company. I was very impressed with Mike and his employees.

We, unfortunately, paid for our two fireplace inserts upfront on May 25th. They just finished it today, Sept. 1. They kept getting the wrong plate from the factory, twice, until they measured what size it was supposed to be.
Their wiring was up next to the insert, which caused it to short out my GFCI when we started up the insert. That only cost us $25 to replace. Since the electricity to the inserts was now off, the emergency backup batteries were drained. Again, no big deal to replace 8 AA batteries when the wiring was fixed. We can take the blame for the batteries because we didn’t read the

We had an exceptional experience with Rocky Mountain Stove and Fireplace. From the minute we walked into the showroom to the minute they drove away from our home after the install was outstanding! Great company to work with. They scheduled an appointment in a reasonable amount of time and kept me updated on the day of service so I knew when to expect them. Hunter was our technician and he was very professional and friendly. He not only serviced both of our fireplaces but he made our 20 year old gas stove look so much better. There was a stain on the top of the stove that was there when we moved in. Hunter noticed it and was able to treat the surface so that the stain is no longer visible. It looks great. When they were finished they cleaned up and left everything looking nice. I would recommend

Mike & his crew are amazing! We were in a hurry to have a project done because we had family that needed to move into our basement for an extended time due to the pandemic. He was so accommodating. He helped us every step of the way, answering all of our many questions with patience and expertise. We had some other companies bid this job and none of those people were as knowledgeable or had as much experience as Rocky Mountain. They also weren't willing to expedite my project. We had Rocky Mountain Stove and Fireplace install a fireplace insert in our home. The owner, Mike Pickrell, was a pleasure to work with. When we contacted his store he came out promptly to perform an estimate and make recommendations. He understood exactly what we were looking for and made his recommendation of type and model we would need. He was very clear in in his explanation of what work needed to be performed.
When he came to install the unit he and his assistant did a beautiful, well thought out installation, including custom fitting of the trim pieces. They kept the workspace very clean

I was on a time crunch and needed a 72 inch fireplace installed and framed out ASAP due to a change in home remodel plans. I contacted three fireplace companies, all of which said they couldn’t help me. I then called Rocky Mountain Stove and Fireplace and spoke to Mike. He was extremely helpful, even came to my home to check out where the fireplace needed to be installed before work, and within two days of contacting him, I had the fireplace installed and framed out. Truly satisfied and so grateful. This is a company that will bend over backwards for their customers.

Mike was incredibly helpful in explaining the fireplace options, the installation process, etc. when he first came to give us a bid. His pricing was very reasonable and he's very honest and down to earth. He then followed up with a helpful phone call to clarify any questions I had.
