My wife and I hired Ary contraction to remodel our kitchen, put in new electrical, remove walls and put in a beam. According to the contract, the beam was supposed to be approved by an engineer. In total we spent over 50k on the construction. Three years later we find out from engineers that the beam he put in was not up to code. This is a series safety issue as the beam was used to replace an earthquake bearing wall.
We called Avi and asked for information regarding the beam and he would not give it to us. He was obviously hiding valuable information from us that. Be careful when hiring this

Absolutely thrilled with our kitchen remodel!!! Avi was wonderful to work with, so kind and honest, we knew we in good hands and had chosen the right company to do our kitchen. Especially with Covid-19 right now we felt safe, all the workers wore masks, were professional and did a wonderful job completing the job within the estimated time frame. Avi and his crew recently did a full kitchen remodel, fireplace remodel, and partial master bathroom remodel in our home. This work took just under 6 weeks. They did a beautiful job in all areas, pictures are attached. This was a custom kitchen with quartz countertops, J&K cabinets, all new floor tiles, backsplash, sink & fixtures, drawer microwave, pop-out garden window, new patio door & window, custom fireplace with remote control gas insert, lots of electrical & plumbing work, framing, drywall, and painting work. After working with Avi over 6 years on 3 major renovations to rehab our hundred year old house, I can honestly say he is a trusted friend and resource and will be the first person we call for our next job. From my first call to him 6 years ago, I could tell Avi was exceptional. He was more honest, responsive, faster, and cheaper than every contractor we called. I had just bought a condo that needed a major renovation and after several interviews I knew Avi with Ary construction was the one to work with. I told him exactly what I wanted and he delivered. He brought my condo that was stuck in 1987 to 2018 in a matter of 6 weeks. He is a honest laid back contractor who will make sure you are happy to the very end. We first used ARY construction 2 years ago when we bought a really outdated townhouse for my parents. Avi did an amazing job - the townhouse now looks like it came out of architectural digest. After the great work ARY Construction did on my kitchen, I contacted Avi to redo the master bathroom. We needed the entire remodel done in three weeks. Mission accomplished. Avi brings quality and meets deadlines, while being competitive. The truth is I'd pay him more because he does great work in record time. I cannot stress enough how great it is to work with Avi. I'm quite discerning and price conscious, I'd even used another contractor for my other bathroom. However that job while slightly less took 12 weeks and was an ulcer in the making. We hired ARY Construction to complete a significant remodel of a house in Westlake Village purchased by my in-laws and their elderly parents. So this guy Avi comes to my house yesterday for a consultation on a potential project. My husband called him and told him specifically what our job would entail: We need help with installing a kitchen backsplash (specifically installing the hardy board and the glass tile). I used ARY Construction to remove the acoustic/popcorn ceilings in my new condo and to install recessed lighting throughout.
Avi was able to meet me shortly after calling to schedule an appointment to get an estimate. He was very friendly and personable and clearly knows what he is talking about. The Ary Construction website says 199.00 per room for Acoustic Ceiling removal, the exact wording on their website in bullet points is this:

This leads me to believe that 199.00 a room includes a smooth finish or texture.
I had Avi come over for a quote, and after a huge sales pitch, and immediately trying to upsell me on light fixtures he came up with a quote of nearly 5000.00 part of this was to install drywall around a fire place, (950.00) The rest was for popcorn ceiling removal.
