She was born and raised in Latvia. After high-school she came to the USA to study and play NCAA division one golf at East Tennessee State University. That is where she fell in love with design and art and got her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design. After graduation she decided to pursue a professional golf career and played professional 9 years on the Ladies European Tour, Symetra Tour, and Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour.
The furniture and decor introduced in the 1950s and 1960s were clean, sophisticated, and inclusive. Mid-century designs have remained a staple in interior architecture. An off-shoot of the mid-century modern movement, Scandinavian design introduced a popular minimalist look to the interior architecture field that lasts to this day.

Laura was great to work with! She helped me finish my newly renovated 3 story house. She understood what I needed and how to get that wow effect. I love her style too- the furniture pieces she picked were right on. She was easy to reach for small consultations. Laura used to play golf professionally and you can feel that perfectionist and work ethic in her interior design work as well.
