Services
Lisa has a long standing love of good design. As a child, her favorite game was to play house, arranging imaginary space for functionality and purpose. She got her big break when her sister left for college and she got the bedroom to herself. It was quickly updated and furnished to look like a modern studio apartment, complete with dining area for two with floor cushions and Japanese inspired floor hugging table.
Produce spaces that invokes a response from you, be it restful, creative, rejuvenating, or invigorating. These are just a few of the many ideas you may have. I have worked with Lisa on several projects. Each time I have felt taken care of and guided toward what will make my home feel most happy and comfortable. She is intuitive and inherently talented. The problems I felt to be too big and overwhelming to solve on my own came naturally to her in what would work the best for me and the space. I am grateful for the assistance in art placement, paint color, furniture arrangement and her warming presence. Run, don't walk, to work with her on your next project!

Mindful Design was retained to add storage and install an entertainment center in my apartment at The Montage. They listened to my ideas and gave me choices of colors, textures and design. The finished result transformed my apartment into a home and the cabinet and tile contractors she used were very professional with Mindful Design onsite to manage to installations per the specifications. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Lisa is amazing! We've worked with her several times over the last 4 years. The first time was helping us transform our "bat cave" living room into something bright and welcoming. Having a professional pick our paint colors in our space transformed the room (we honestly thought, "huh, looks like the same creamy/beigey off white.." but once on the walls -- wow!) She really listens to what you want to do and stays within the budget you set. She picked great pieces and directed us to excellent sources. We're working with her again on our new-old house. Don't look further -- she is awesome.
