Prodigy Built

This review is long overdue but haven't forgotten the great experience I had with Jovany and his wife.

I've purchased this table that was sort of large for your typical home and need it to be trimmed down. It required a skilled carpenter so I called around and stumbled across this business. Jovany was very generous in pricing and flexible with time. He completed this project fast despite it was a day or two from 4th of July..the completed result was exceptional. He's definitely very skilled.

Update: After I posted my review I received a phone call. This business prefers email, not Yelp inquiries. I was asked to resend my info. for a quote.

I tried to reach this business via Yelp with no response. When that didn't work I tried calling and leaving a message. Then I called a second time and left another message.

Either they are too busy to talk with new customers or they don't want the business but don't tell you. What rating would you give a (small) company who isn't good at customer service?

I could not be happier with the custom table that Jovany created for us. We had been sitting on some Acacia wood for a couple of years that we had unsuccessfully asked (read: paid) someone else to turn into a table. I came to Jovany with the wood in a box frame and a set of legs. What he came back with I will let speak for itself, but to say it's amazing.

Highly Recommended for upscale custom woodwork. Our custom design was delivered safe and in excellent condition. I was very pleased and satisfied with the detail and high level of quality invested into my project. Prodigy Built really exceeded my expectations. Definitely will do business again with Prodigy Built in the near future.

In today's world, it's not very often that when you special order something that it totally exceeds your expectations. I can tell you that Jovany exceeded all my expectations. My dining table is a piece of art, crafted the old fashion way, mortise and tenon. I could not be happier with our purchase. Jovany is a true craftsman and a wonderful human being. He stayed in contact with us the entire time and provided progress pictures along the way. His shop is about two hours from my house but I will continue to use Prodigy Built for all my woodworking needs. Thanks Jovany for a job well done

After spending countless hours searching for a dining room table at furniture stores, I'm so happy that we found Jovany. He was incredibly responsive and worked with us to design and build an amazing black walnut table based on images we sent to him and to the exact dimensions that we needed. Great company!! Very easy and pleasant to work with and great ideas to offer. The follow through was as expected and I was very happy with the end product. I bought a raw piece if black walnut and wanted a sofa table made and Jovany even had a tradesman to make the base. I know that he can make almost anything because I asked him to make these special tables for my couch and he did it without any issues. I know if I see any wood that I have someone who can work with it.
