Otto's Appliance Service, Inc. was founded by Otto Fusaro in 1957. Otto started this business with a love for repair and helping people. Otto's warm personality and prompt, efficient service built this buisiness into what it is today. Gradually, all three of his sons joined him to truly form a family business.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. This is old fashioned service. They answer the phone, have good communication, and everyone I've dealt with is VERY knowledgeable. They have fixed my dishwasher, instant hot water faucet, and identified a power cord recall on my other dishwasher that I didn't even know about. Prices are fair & even free (several repairs were covered under warranty). If you have problems, call them.

After our kitchen was remodeled, our dishwasher kept falling off its mounting underneath a cabinet. We had the contractors fix it multiple times, but it kept failing. Finally, the contractors said that the mounting hardware provided by the dishwasher manufacturer was faulty and they couldn't do anything about it.
That didn't seem right to us, so we called a high-end appliance seller and asked who they use for installations. They told us to call Otto, who fixed the problem once and for all at a reasonable price.

No brainer to call Otto's in my experience. Angelo (field technician) knows his Bosch appliances and was able to fix ours despite the intermittent nature (a challenge for repairs!). On top of that, they returned later (3 months...) when I had an unrelated additional issue and resolved it in less than 5 minutes without even charging me. Class act all around and I recommend them without hesistation.

Otto has over 40+ years experience. We first use another appliance repair company called A+ Appliance Repair in San Mateo. ironic, but they are def a D+ company. They had a lower service call, but their job charge was totally up to the discretion of the technician. So after coughing up almost $300 and supposed the receipt notes "replaced water value", which turned out not to be true. Poor note-taking and the office lady was unhelpful, just repeating what was written on receipt.

$160.00 for just a service call is a bit much, especially since Angelo was only here for 45 minutes, tops. Angelo was able to rectify the problem with my Bosch dishwasher, hopefully for good, without having to order parts. He thanked me for my check and said he would mark that he was here for 15 minutes because his boss gets after him, implying that the $160.00 was a bargain. Will most likely look elsewhere in the future if I have problems with appliances.

These are some really helpful, honest folks at Ottos. They ended up giving me advice which allowed me to fix my dishwasher on my own!
My experience: my dishwasher was clogged and Ottos is one of several Bosch dishwasher authorized repairers (the best rated one, too). I called them and the friendly guy on the phone make a best effort to squeeze me into a busy schedule. In addition, he gave me a ton of helpful tips to diagnose the issue and potentially fix it myself. These tips allowed me to check a part of the dishwasher I didn't think of check, which allowed me to unclog and fix the error myself

Our Bosch dishwasher had a minor problem. Another appliance service company recommended Otto's for Bosch brand. I sent a photo and they arrived on schedule with the needed part. Plus their experienced tech offered several excellent suggestions to improve our situation. He finished quickly and the bill was fair. We will definitely use them again.

We had a Bosch dishwasher that needed servicing. After calling Otto's Appliance Service, we got an appointment within a week. Angelo the service technician not only fixed the problem (replacing a valve), he told us that we did not need to use rinse aid because the pods we were using already had it. He also gave helpful hints on preparing the dishes for the wash (leave some food on, just brush particles and solids off). The best part of the repair was that Angelo was able to turn off the annoying alarm at the end of the cycle! 5 stars for Angelo at Otto's Appliance Service!

Our 3 year old Thermador dishwasher started giving us E22 &E24 error codes and the pump was louder. Initially we saw these codes intermittently but the dishwasher appeared to work fine. Eventually we had water or soap residual at the bottom of the tub. Repeated checks of our filter and drains appeared clear. When the water no longer drained and simple YouTube solutions didn't help, we searched Yelp for a reputable service company and found Otto's with a 5 STAR rating! Bosch dishwasher was busted. After connecting with Otto's over the phone, they set me up with an appointment that was weeks away. They followed up with schedule opening much earlier, and Angelo fixed the issue while teaching me how to self-diagnose and troubleshoot myself for next time. I would not hesitate to call Angelo again in the future.

When our 7 year old Thermador (made by Bosch) dishwasher started malfunctioning, we called Otto's. Angelo is such a pleasant and knowledgeable person and he diagnosed and repaired the issue quickly and efficiently. We called Otto’s to repair our 14 year old Thermador microwave oven. Joe was the tech. He came out to our house in Redwood City, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and returned about 10 days later to make the repair. Great service - now we will get more years of service out of our appliance. Recommended to all.
