After bidding out the pool process last fall, it didn't take me long to choose Doug and Utah Pool Pros. The fundamental difference was that Doug (the owner) actually works in the field. He didn't come with a clipboard and a 75k truck to bid out the work. Also what I appreciated was that Doug was more than willing to work with our design ideas and the placement of the equipment etc... He was super flexible and responsive to my wife and I's thoughts.

I wish we would’ve met Doug much earlier. I wish we had met him before we had our pool built by someone else a couple of years ago. The original guy disappeared from our job long before it was finished and had left it with some major problems, including a main drain leak. We had some pool people recommend Doug. I called him and he came and assessed the situation. He was very knowledgeable, (he takes actual pool building classes), professional, punctual and assuring that it could all be fixed. It was an honest pleasure to work with Doug. He fixed it all. I highly recommend Doug and his company

After getting off to a serious misunderstanding and a very disappointing start, I gave Doug, and Pool Pros Utah, a 1 star rating.
But, since then, Doug initiated another appointment and came to service my pool. He was very knowledgeable and creative at locating, adapting and installing a new boiler system plus a wireless control system.
We have made plans for future pool work to be done, so, in summary, I am happy to redo my prior review and extend my thanks for his conscientious good work.

Thank you Pool Pros Utah for the incredible job on turning our backyard into such a great space for our family! We absolutely love it and could not be happier with how the pool turned out. Many of our friends have built pools, and while they like the pool, they would’t even give us numbers or referrals. Not Utah Pool Pros. We could not be happier with our new pool. Doug and crew were very good/great to work with, enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them all. They were very thoughtful in keeping my escaping dogs in eyesight. Their work and craftsmanship were great! Doug is honest and does the "little things" that are often not seen anymore!
