Wonderful experience working with Dave. We wanted to add a master suite to our home to make the space more livable with a growing family. Dave helped us visualize the changes, including knocking down walls to open things up, and get to final decisions on layout. He listened to what we wanted but also brought design expertise and made great suggestions along the way. Early on in the build we ended up in a stop work due to bad city records on the sceptic system. Dave was amazing and worked up an alternative design that retained overall size while reconfiguring the inside to make it work. The general

We had an excellent experience working with Dave on our project. I liked that Dave would provide us very creative design options yet was practical enough to think through issues of constructability and durability. When we decided to do a major renovation/reconstruction of our home we had nothing more than an abstract idea of what we wanted and the process seemed extremely daunting. We had heard wonderful things about Dave from friends, whose home is spectacular, and decided to contact Dave. Dave really listened to us and asked questions that clearly showed he was paying attention to our needs. He took our very abstract idea for our home and proposed inventive design solutions that we would never have imagined. After seeing all the large, beautiful homes produced by David Falk Design, my husband and I were almost reluctant to have Dave redesign our kitchen, breakfast, laundry, and family room. He was gracious from the start and applied the same careful thought process to our remodel. The end result ties seamlessly into the 1950’s feel of the rest of the house. We love the style, function, and Dave’s restraint that kept the project within budget. Dave’s office and mine recently collaborated on a project in Seattle- David Falk Design handling the building architecture and Broadhurst + Associates designing the landscape architecture. Our teams, combined with wonderful clients, produced an outstanding collaboration. Dave and I both sought to realize the client’s vision for a sophisticated, yet easy living family home.
