We are General Contractors and we called several heating and air places in Amarillo to assist us with a project that we had in Amarillo. Texas Air has been great to work with and they have been upfront, provided great service, and we are happy to have a new subcontractor to work with! These guys did a complete install in my house in about 4-5 days.
It's important to have your heat pump on a Maintenance plan with service at least every year. Inspect electric terminals, and, if necessary, clean and tighten connections, and apply non conductive coating. Verify correct electric control, making sure that heating is locked out when the thermostat calls for cooling and vice versa.

Strongly recommend this business! I called them to get a second opinion because Scottco said I needed another unit that was going to cost $8,500. Texas Air came out the same day I called and the problem - a blown fuse that cost well under the $8,500 quote from Scottco. Please use this business as they are professional, honest, and so good at what they do!

Texas Air has an awesome Owner that has a business that is all about taking care of peoples heating and air needs, not taking advantage of people for profit— as most heating and air company’s do.
If you want good honest technicians,

I got a explanation of everything that was wrong and an itemize breakdown of all the services.

He does a really good job, very nice and personable and truly cares about getting you taken care of.

Our air conditioner died on us and as soon as I called they came and gave us a great price. We replaced our whole system because they noticed our system wasn't quite big enough for our home. The service was fantastic and I greatly appreciate the guys installing our new system. We are thrilled with how well it works. We will always call Texas Air!

These guys did a complete install in my house in about 4-5 days. They did a great job despite my house being old and having to place the vents through thick plaster ceilings. There was a manufacturer defect with the blower fan which they came back and repaired for free even though they were not the ones at fault. A very responsive and professional company. I think you will be happy with using them for your heating and air needs.
