Mollyanne Sherman a certified interior designer with extensive experience in the Home Design Industry creating solutions for built environments and also holds certifications in kitchen, bath, aging in place, and Green building. We also offer design consultation services on an hourly basis for those who simply need some ideas or direction. Initial Consultation / Assessment - We start with a visit to your home to assess your space, discuss your needs and review your budget. Sketches / Product Recommendations - We follow up with design sketches providing options for your renovation project.
When New Orleans and other cities were hit by Hurricane Katrina millions of people lost loved ones, as well as their homes and everything they owned. There was so much to be done, and there will be for many more years. MAC Design made a cash donation through the Ellen DeGeneres Katrina Relief Campaign.
Your designer can help you from the very beginning of the planning through the competition of the construction and decoration. By involving an experienced certified designer at the beginning you will have more specific information to take to a contractor. This helps the contractor or the product suppliers to provide a more accurate cost estimate or bid.
MAC Design supports the growth and experience of aspiring designers. We work to provide our interns a well rounded experience and exposure to the design business with involvement on product resourcing and including them in client meetings. This helps to give them the skills to move forward in the area of design they wish to pursue.

I LOVE Mollyanne Sherman -- she did the most amazing job on our large remodel of our kitchen, breakfast room, and laundry room. Mollyanne has a great eye for envisioning what "could be" in any room, and can communicate that to you. She is a great listener to what your preferences and needs are, and sticks to them. Ours is an old (1917) house, and we wanted to preserve the original style of our house as much as possible, and Mollyanne hit it on the nose! I LOVE my kitchen, and am so happy that Mollyanne was our designer.

I started my kitchen remodel project with one goal - to get the best design that improves the functional aspect of my kitchen. I was willing to compromise the space and didn't mind if it looks smaller (prefered not to) as long as it was functional. We had a decently medium sized kitchen, but the cabinets and counter space were very limited. Had a half door pantry which is mostly unusable. The kitchen had space but one section of the wall was a nook with 3 windows. So basically, we only had 2 sides of the room used for countertop, appliances and cabinets.

Very happy with our cabinets ordered thru MAC Design. They worked with our budget to get us nice quality cabinets. Mollyanne made a great suggestion to move our stove to the other side of the kitchen and it is so much nicer and more efficient use of space. She also helped to confirm my color choices would work together. Very happy with the service. Very friendly and helpful!!

I'm sitting her in my beautiful kitchen that Mollyanne designed for us four years ago. We still love everything and won't changed it at all. She gave us everything we asked for and more and she is charming to work with. It's was sad when we were done because we felt like we are friends forever. If we ever need to re-model again, I hope Mollyanne is still in business!! Thank you Mollyanne for giving us the most wonderful kitchen design.

I cannot say enough great things about Mollyanne!! She's got a great personality and is constantly giving back to the community in the many charities she's been a part of. I've even seen her on HGTV's Bang for Your Buck where she shared with America her very own personal master bathroom (which is uber cool!!). She strives to make MAC Designs green which is a perk!! She herself has so many great ideas and communicates very clearly which IMO is very important especially when investing in redoing something as important as your kitchen or bathroom.

Our company is a "green" certified construction company and we finally were able to partener with a great "green" desinger - Mollyanne. Mollyanne Sherman and MAC Design, provide amazing service, incredibly creative ideas, and great value. Mollyanne's layout for my first kitchen remodel incorporated concepts that all of the designers we interviewed totally missed. She made the most of our space and created a look that was stunning, yet functional. She also gave me great ideas for a rental property that turned a ho-hum property into a showroom on a shoestring budget. She's a down-to-earth, practical person with a brilliant flair for pairing form and function. I'd highly recommend MAC Design for any remodel or new construction

I have had the pleasure of working with Mollyanne of MAC Design for the last 12 years. I am a general contractor and Mollyanne has done different projects ranging from kitchen and bath remodels to whole house remodels. I love working with Mollyanne and so do my clients.
