My wife and I went here because we were recommended from family and friends. They didn't try to pressure us to buy something that we didn't want. They let us take home samples so that we could try the flooring out in all the rooms that we wanted to change out the flooring. They gave great recommendations for different types of flooring. They walked us through all of the steps. We knew exactly what we were going to get and how much we were going to pay form the beginning. The prices were comparable to all the other flooring places in the area.There were no surprises. We got to take samples home to see which floor actually worked with our house. When they came to install the flooring, they were experienced and friendly. They did everything in the timely manner that they said that they would. They left the house as clean as possible. Due to a plumbing issue in our house we had to have virtually all of the flooring in our home replaced - Terry to the rescue!!!! Terry met with us in our home one evening for almost three hours making sure he got every measurement perfect so he could give us some expert advice! What I liked most about Terry was his professionalism and honesty - he didn't try to "up sale" us or tell us we needed extra things. I have to say, reading some of these weird reviews, makes me feel like I'm either writing about a completely different company, or there's a ton of just crazy people out there. We did our homework, researched flooring, got lots of flooring samples, and checked out several flooring companies. A friend referred us to Terry, the owner at Carpets Plus, and once we met him, we knew he was the right contractor for us. If I can give negative stars I would. The sales guy Ben was great work looked good but left mess and either stole all of my tools out of the home; or att at fault do to leaving the back door unlocked. This was a home purchased for my grandfather that I was fixing up for him to move in. They were aware that I wasn't planning on coming back and never called me to ask if I was coming back I prepaid for the work being done so didn't have any need to come back. Needless to say a $1000 carpet job ended up costing me $3000 in tool expense loss. The owner Terry claims they aren't at fault

It has been two years; I decided they deserve my review. If you are a straightforward type, you will appreciate this store. Privately owned; just one or two people running the store on any given day. We went to all the big carpet stores, but we felt that Steve was the most trustworthy; he's been selling carpet for decades. He wasn't in a hurry to sell us anything. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER... I held off writting this review; however it would be wrong not to share. Frankly, we should have paid attention to the less than positive or neutral reviews! Our rush to complete a project, became a major lesson learned.
We were in the middle of a large re-flooring project. After having worked with a well known business, we switched to Carpets Plus to finish our wood flooring and remaining carpet project. I received a phone call confirming the next day's appointment for estimate and after waiting 2 hours for the guy to arrive I called and found out nobody had been dispatched and when asked I was told the guy was out ill. I would have expected them to call me, not me having to call them. I'm not sure if I would trust them to do the work.

We bought our carpet two years ago, and we are still happy with it! Gary came out the same day to our house and even gave us the best price. Installers were friendly, on time and finished the whole house with a staircase in one day. They also did a good job with the seams and pattern. I definitely recommend them.

We ordered our LVP floors from Carpets Plus and had them installed by their crew. The floors are exactly what we wanted and the installation was flawless. The sales staff at the store was professional and the install crew was great. The stores showroom had tons of samples for us to look at...I will use them again for my flooring needs.

We met Gary, the previous owner, who was very accommodating and came to our house on 3 different occasions to give us a quote. We went ahead and signed the contract. We had our floors installed over a 3 day period by a crew of 3 men. We opted to pay for them to move large furniture, we were responsible for moving all small items out of the way. We didn't leave a lot of furniture for them to move, but they managed to damage almost everything they did move.

I have had many dealing with Carpets Plus and Gary. Every time they have been nothing but professional and their products (carpet and hardwood) have been outstanding. Just recently I had some hardwood installed . They came on time, were polite and considerate and were done in a timely fashion. They cleaned up and left the room and surroundings just like they found it. As I said before, I have dealt with them many time and this is the reason I keep coming back. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had some fibers from my carpet and I needed a small palm-sized swatch of carpet and Carpet Plus was the only place I called that was willing to help me find just that small portion. Once I arrived Mike was very helpful and we found a match to the fibers. He told me it was free of charge because of how small the piece was. Overall great experience

Norm is really great! I am on a search for a grey vinyl remnant and he let me take a sample to my home to match the color. I guessed the color wrong but Norm called other local stores to help me find what I needed. They have lots of carpets, hardwoods and tiles to choose from. I read the reviews here and based on that, decided to visit Carpets Plus to look in to choosing new flooring for my house. My experience was much like what others have posted. I got hand scraped hickory hardwood floors, new baseboards, and new carpeting for 2 bedrooms. I could not be more pleased with the result, the integrity of everyone I came in contact with. Carpets Plus has installed carpets and linoleum at almost every one of my rental properties and my own home. Their carpeting is reasonably priced and always provide fast, quality installations. Since I discovered Carpets Plus 5 years ago, I have been so happy with them that I have had no reason to use anyone else.
