Smith Services, Inc. is a locally owned and operated company that began as Smith Heating & Air Conditioning in 1974, by its founder Richard Smith. Chip Woody purchased the company from the previous owner in 2003 and is the CEO. In that same year the company purchased C & R Air Conditioning of Stuart and Ewing Air of Wellington, because of their excellent reputation and history of serving their respective customer bases since the 1970's.

I can’t even tell you how disappointing this company is. They took money from our church for services that were not completed and an invoice was left showing it was completed. We called them out to help us with a unit that was not working properly. They said the problem was fixed but a couple weeks later the system built up so much water in the tray that it poured over onto the floor and ruined the ceiling in the babies room below the unit. I called the company numerous times but never got a reply. I’m still not satisfied with their lack of interest in helping resolve the issue so I posted

I bought this house and was having ac issues. I called smiths and they sent a technician out, younger kid. Told me I needed to replace my system. (Idk how he could have come up with that since he didn’t do anything and he was playing on his phones. He proceeded to tell me if I paid him cash he could come back and do it after hours. Told him no thank you and called the office. The manager acted like he could care less and kept telling me I was wrong and lying. I called another company who came out and found nothing wrong. The job was quickly identified, parts were ordered, and the repair was wonderfully done. I thought it was an amazing job, and was given an explanation of what parts were used, replaced, and why. I had a Fan motor for my inside unit burn out, I was able to have Charles come out and repair it. Thank you Charles!! :)
Service times are a bit iffy, because of the distances the Technicians travel, time spend making sure the repairs are the best, and availability of correct parts. If you are first in the morning the Technicians are early or right on time. Smith Services will go out of their way to make

I have been a loyal customer of Smith's Services for over 20 years and it is because of their outstanding customer service that they deliver each and every time whether is is a routine "tune-up" or repair and upgrades to the system. Today, I had an additional vent put in along with one removed from my system followed by a tightening of the duct-work. My service technician, Steven Bates had thoroughly explained the work that was to be done along with an accurate estimate on his last visit during a routine A/C maintenance check-up. Our Hayward pool heat pump was not working. I looked on the Hayward website and saw that Smith Services was an authorized service provider in our area. I called Smith Services and a technician came out the same afternoon and diagnosed a refrigerant leak. He came back the next day with a part to repair the leak. Incredibly responsive and professional service....thank you!

One year ago I had this company out because a/c was running for several hours and house was warm. A guy came out and "checked" everything out. He said everything checked out fine and looked good. I was told it was a hot day and the a/c is just working hard to keep house cool. Fast forward a year later. Same issue, called Smith Services and they can't come out for an emergency call. Another company came out and told me that my a/c looked like it had not been cleaned in several years. Coils dirty, not draining, etc. I always have my a/c checked out once a year and Smith Services failed when I asked

After our first contractor literally walked out on a Friday at 5 pm with no AC in July , we called Smith. We had somebody here in 45 minutes ON A FRIDAY !! They got us up and running until they could get a part. They came back the following week. The guys were friendly, professional, quiet and so clean, not a drop of dust anywhere. The office staff and managers were so friendly and helpful. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY !!!!!!!!

Very unsatisfied with the service that I have received through the years. I have paid for regular service each year and somehow the A/C unit still breaks each year. I replaced the entire unit, and still we have problems. There is a minimum service trip charge, and even with the guarantee that I wouldn't be charged for a misdiagnosis...I was. Most recently, Smith A/C had to return for a second (but related) problem and did not offer any break. I called the customer service dept. and was told that they would look into the details and call me back. I never got a call back. I made a second call and
