Cardinal began in in 1975 as a family-owned general home contracting business. We were three relatives working in a small garage space in the Kensington section of Philadelphia but within our first six months of operation, we were subcontracted to do "re-facing" work. Over the next few years we realized that we could produce a better quality product that what we currently being subcontracted to install.
Most people think of refacing as a paper-thin laminate or wood veneer, which must be glued on to your old cabinet creating doubt in the longevity of the materials. Cardinal's refacing process completely removes this concern with our NO GLUE front frame installation. Our frame is constructed of 3/4 solid wood in your choice of wood and finish.

Cardinal Cabinets redid our cabinet fronts 7-10 years ago, and did a wonderful job - very high quality with reasonable prices. We recently ran into a problem with the interior of one of our cabinets (not related to Cardinal Cabinets' work), but I called anyway to see if they could help. Brian kindly fit us into the schedule, came the next day, figured out the problem, and repaired it on the spot. After many renovation projects over the past several years, my husband and I agree that Cardinal Cabinets has been the most professional, easy to work with, and knowledgeable of all of the contractors

They were very helpful and gave us all the time we needed to get the kitchen of our dreams . The install time was just what we were hoping for. We now have a beautiful spacious kitchen in Hard Maple wood with a Nickel finish stain. Many wonderful features such as pull out drawers, door mounted spice rack, in cabinet trash and recycling, pot drawers all complimented by a breathtaking granite counter top with an under-mounted stainless steel sink.

Cardinal is wonderful! Brian is one of the friendliest people I have ever done business with. They did my kitchen at my old residence and the custom entertainment system they built me years ago still looks brand new. It has traveled through three homes with me and has withstood a small tube tv that fit perfectly to a large flat screen that sat neatly on top for years. It still holds all of our stereo equipment without any problem. It has wheels on the bottom so my husband can easily pull it away from the way (even on carpet) to adjust the wires on our stereo from the back. Very good craftsmanship
