A 10nm capped TiO2 nanocrystal that contains no reactive functional groups designed for high compatibility in multiple polar solvents and monomers such as acrylates, siloxanes, and epoxies. A 20nm capped TiO2 nanocrystal that contains acrylate functionality designed to crosslink with methacrylate and acrylate systems.
PixClear's high refractive index nanocrystals and formulations allow Pixelligent to achieve the widest FoV waveguides available in the XR market. The Extended Reality (XR) market, including Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) devices, has the potential to redefine and disrupt the personal communication device market in the same way mobile phones and smartphones did in the 1990s and 2000s.
PixClear allows for precise light management in next generation display applications where performance requirements are being pushed to their physical limits. Our materials can be utilized to tune the refractive index (RI) between multiple- mismatched layers in various OLED, MicroLED, and QD display applications.
Pixelligent offers standard PixClear, as well as customized zirconia and titania nanocrystal formulations and dispersions, for OLED applications. When used as an Internal Light Extraction (ILE) layer, PixClear has demonstrated an increase in the light out-coupling by as much as 100%. Our products can replace or complement the benefits of using external light extraction layers and are compatible with existing OLED manufacturing processes.
Pixelligent offers customized zirconia nanocrystal dispersions using our PixClearProcess services for prototype products in LED applications. Using this service, we can disperse our nanocrystals into many commercial silicones and can work with a silicone specific to your LED application. When cured, these materials create thermally stable, optically clear films with high refractive index and high transparency.
