The Pregl team of service professionals provides reliable, expedient, cost-effective, value-added repair, rebuild and reconditioning services that minimize downtime, reduce operating costs, improve operating efficiencies and maximize equipment longevity in your thermal processes.
At Pregl, we know that a properly maintained vacuum chamber can last for decades, but if the water supply used for cooling is untreated, mineral build-up can cause water jacket blockages to occur much sooner. Hot spots, foul-smelling water and water discoloration are some of the signs of mineral build-up in a water jacket, but there are no sure-fire methods for detecting blockages.
Infrared Thermography (IRT) produces images of radiation (heat) in the electrical and mechanical systems of your thermal processes. Analyzing IRT images allows assessment of general furnace conditions and performance, early detection of potential problem areas and implementation of pre-emptive corrective action to prevent equipment malfunction/breakdown, serious equipment damage and potentially dangerous operating conditions.
Sooner or later, all vacuum furnaces develop leaks. Leaks not only cause operational inefficiency, but that can have an adverse effect on the quality of your processed parts and cause damage to internal components of your furnace. Small leaks are particularly concerning because they often go undetected and can cause serious damage.
Minimize Unscheduled Downtime, Emergency Repairs, and Interruptions to Your Production Schedule. Planned repairs and regular maintenance in order to improve safety, reliability and accuracy. Your Pregl Pro will work with you to customize a PM package that best fits your maintenance and production needs.
