After reading their reviews online, I decided to call Maui Arbor Scapes to swing by and give me a quote. They were able to come the next morning and give us a quote. They were supper responsive, and email me a proposal later that day, and set up a date for the tree removal. David was there promptly at 8:30am and got to work. The crew worked fast! Originally he said it would be a two day process. David and his crew knocked it out by the late afternoon!! We were throughly impressed with their professionalism and work ethic!! They were so awesome! Very responsive and quick. My elderly mom needed some plants removed from her senior housing apartment and they came to the rescue. They were easy to coordinate with and easy to communicate with and full of Aloha :-) I would rate 10 stars if I could!

I was very pleased with the work that Maui Arbor Scape did. They topped some pine trees, removed a triangle palm and ground out the stump. They were professional, on time and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend them.

Arborist David Alvarez and his crew provided outstanding tree removal service. As a certified arborist, he is totally professional in his work and communications. His wife Kate also provided quick contract proposal and explained the details of it to ensure that I totally understood what was to be contracted for. This contract work was for 2 full days with a 4 man crew. I was really pleased with the outcome. To be clear, it was a very unusual kind of tree cutting and removal. Thanks to all of them for a really well done job.

My wife and I recently bought a home in Makawao that was in foreclosure. There were multiple large eucalyptus trees that needed to be taken down or trimmed. We received three estimates and David’s was by far the best. He worked with us financially to come up with a plan that fit our budget. His crew was awesome, fast, and extremely skilled. They took down a large eucalyptus that was completely growing over my house without touching the house or the nearby fence. It was impressive to say the least. I hired Maui Arbor Scape to remove a 75-80ft Ironwood tree over a house, chainlink fence, and storage unit. They managed to remove it without damaging the property in two days. They're prices are fair based on other companies bids. They show up on time, professional, ISA Certified Arborist, Licensed/Insured and communicate well. Very pleased with David and the crew.

Lemme just tell you, David and his wife Kate are the sweetest, most competent and amazing professionals at what they do. David and Kate really goes above and beyond to help their clients- I was flying a drone and made the rookie mistake of flying in into the top of the tree. Kate was able to schedule me in for a next day appointment to check on the tree, and despite me not being onsite to guide them to the tree, David was able to navigate the airbnb I was staying at and locate the trip with the instructions via phone and retrieved the drone with no damage!

What a wonderful experience by David and his crew! His lovely wife Kate arranged the date and time for the work they did. We had a dead palm taken down, as well as 14 tall Traveler Palms trimmed. It was a dirty, difficult job. They were very professional, had wonderful attitudes, and worked incredibly hard to complete a lot of work. They did a nice job cleaning up everything and hauling it to the landfill. All this and each and every one of them was personable. I can certainly understand why every review they have had has been 5 stars. I wholeheartedly recommend Maui Arbor Scape without hesitation

I was referred to Maui Arbor Scape by a friend regarding trimming of a hedge bordering my property. I was hoping to be able to use them and refer them on to others in the community as well, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
Initially my voicemail wasn't returned so I followed up again to try to reach someone. We set an appointment for the following day which was great, but they cancelled 15 minutes before they were supposed to arrive. These guys are the real deal. David and his wife came through big time! We are here in Maui on vacation and my friend got his drone stuck in a palm tree the second day we were here. We had been scrambling for days to find someone who would go up for us to get it. We finally got a hold of David and he was able and willing to do the job for us! Once he got to the tree, he climbed it, retrieved the drone, and was back down in a matter of 5-10 minutes. Amazing. We can't thank him and his wife enough!

Maui Arbor Scape is a family business that offers top quality services at really good rates. Kate called me back right away, gave me a detailed estimate (sent as an attachment to an email) and followed up with a call to be sure I got it. David, Kate and Jacob arrived right on time, removed a mature coconut tree and ground down three big stumps. David climbed the tree, lowered the coconuts, fronds and sections of the tree, landing each piece right where he wanted it. They cut the heart out of the crown and gave it to me, making the experience even better. They left the yard cleaner than they found

They came, they saw, they conquered all of the overgrowth at my new home. I bought this little cottage in Makawao after it had languished on the MLS for almost a year. In this community of 9 cottages, one two doors away sold in 72 hours for $100K more but this one, well, you can see the problem. David and his crew came in and took out all of the overgrowth, including 20 banana trees in the back yard and hedges that were breeding grounds for mosquitos. I can't really say enough good things about Maui Arbor Scape to give them a fair review as even 10 stars would be too few. These guys work hard, show up on time, no "surprises", and finish the job all the way through cleanup. Tree Cutting is just hard work and dangerous and not something I want to do myself and they get it done at a fair and reasonable price which is really just a bonus. Highly recommend.
