Two of the most popular solutions for catching and directing water already on the ground are french drains and concrete catch basins. Both options are excellent for helping to fix muddy yards and drainage issues. One of our most popular solutions is the french drain, which collects and diverts water.
NC Drainage specialized in piping downspouts, burying downspouts, and ensuring that the rainwater from your gutters doesn't end up where it shouldn't. Many drainage problems are caused by roof runoff. Piping and burying downspouts gets water off your yard and away from your foundation by taking it completely off of your property.

Rain gardens are built on the downside of a slope in the path of runoff from your roof/gutters, impervious surfaces, and any other flowing stormwater. We had a serious drainage issue at our home, with water standing for long periods of time after any amount of rain. We contacted NC Drainage as they had excellent reviews. They fully deserve these.
Adam came out to inspect and provided us with a well thought-out solution and a very reasonable quotation for the amount of work needed. Due to their excellent reputation, they were fully booked but gave us an estimated time when the work would be done and they were on the mark with this.

I am very impressed with this company. You get what you pay for. I had a project manager come out a week before the job to go over all the details. This was very reassuring. The crew that did the job was super nice and professional. The used a mat on my driveway so the excavator would not leave any marks. They used a sod cutter on my yard. I had an area dug up and they were able to lay the sod right back after all the repair work. I'm sure some of neighbors can't even tell any work was done after their job and great clean up. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with NC Drainage. From the outstanding superintendent to the crew leader and the crewmembers, one could not ask for better customer service, quality work and a company-wide culture striving for excellence.
We experienced substantial water flow in our backyard after heavy rainfall and it has gotten worse over the years. We had three companies give us an estimate. NC Drainage ruined my yard and then asked me to get a quote to get it fixed . When I gave them the $3790 quote to fix my yard, the owner (Jason) quit responding. He had previously told me how important his reputation was, but then flaked out on fixing my yard. I would not use this company in a high end residential setting, they are much better suited for low end housing. Save your money, call a professional company, this isn't it.

I recently had NC Drainage install a berm and drain on my property, to control the water coming from my neighbor. I trimmed some bushes back in order to ensure that the work was completed on my side of the surveyed, registered property line.
NC Drainage did an excellent job, and are very easy to work with. Their people are outstanding, from estimation to completion, Jared, Ryan and Cameron could not have been more friendly cooperative and helpful.

I would give 10 stars if I could! What a great company with wonderful employees! I had standing water in my driveway. NC Drainage installed a channel drain and piping to drain the water away from my driveway and front yard. From start to finish, the initial meeting, quote, scheduling, and completed project were handled with ease. NC Drainage has a wonderful team of courteous and professional employees. I simply cannot say enough about this company. We have been dealing with some major water, drainage, and erosion issues in our back yard. Taking on the water flow from 4 different neighbors lefts us with a barren muddy mess of a yard. I highly recommend this company. They were professional, on time, easy to work with and fit us into their busy schedule quickly to suit our needs as were selling our home. Adam and Ryan provided a thorough quote and scheduled us quickly and followed up often. I received a quote from nc drainage in June 2018 and they recommended doing the project in March 2019. I budgeted and was expecting this to happen. I told them we definitely wanted the project done. Unfortunately when I called in March 2019 they told me they were booked for the next "5 months with bigger projects" I felt like they completely disregarded their word and was very dissapointed in this type of treatment.

I called and spoke to Jason about the possibility of one of my buyers homes possibly needing a French Drain. Jason answered the phone right away, asked the right questions. He then did some research on the home and called me back to tell me he didn't think the home needed a French Drain. (keep in mind, french drains are pricey) I appreciate a company that will tell you the way it is and not need to make a sale, every time.
