I'm Doug Woodside, the owner of Decks and Patio Covers and I bring 30 plus years of building experience to every project. As a founding member and contributor to the first Built Green building program in the Pacific Northwest during the mid 90's being resource efficient has always been an important part of every project.

We are a general contractor fully committed to only offering Wolf Decking Products for those looking for a superior low maintenance outdoor living space.
We don't do a lot but when we do build wood surfaced decks it's 2x4 or 2x6 high quality tight knot cedar all securely fastened with stainless steel. To keep it low maintenance we use Eco Wood Treatment. Eco Woods starts the natural silvering of cedar within hours of application and is one time treatment.
No matter what the weather is doing outside or the season of the year, the environment under your patio covers will provide a comfortable outdoor living space. Your furniture will be clean, dry, and ready to use when you want. You will always have a cool place to lounge on a hot sunny day, and rain or shine you will always be able to enjoy a BBQ with your family and friends.
Following the theme of all the products we choose to provide our clients our railing are a heavy weight commercial grade powder coated aluminum. Select from stainless steel cable, tempered glass or a picket infill to complement and finish your outdoor living space. Colors available are Black, Bronze, White and Anodized aluminum.

We hired Mitchell and his company, Decks and Patio Covers, because we had seen his work before at a neighbors home. Mitchell was professional and very detail oriented in his measuring out our covered patio project. Assembly day was exciting and he answered all the questions we had and the end result was an incredible covered outdoor space.

Decks and Patio Covers were a referral from several of our neighbors in our new neighborhood.
Doug gave us our initial quote and then Mitchell came to the house, to discuss project and brought out the samples. Due to supply chain issues we were told it could be 6-8 weeks or more before it could be installed We were pleasantly surprised when we got the call that the materials we here and ready to install in just 6 weeks. They had the patio cover finished in just a day and it looks AMAZING!!
The courtesy and professionalism were outstanding! We won't hesitate to recommend you to anyone

Due to supply chain issues, I did have to wait several months for an installation date, but my project was scheduled for this past week and Doug sent me an email with the details.

Terrible Customer Service. It took multiple attempts, by phone and email, to reach the owner. When he finally responded to my email, we set up an appointment for a quote. I even took this day off and he didn't show up. He didn't call ahead or tell us he couldn't make. He didn't even respond to any further calls or emails. Terrible service and obviously doesn't care about his customers.
If you're looking to get a patio cover in Kitsap County, I highly recommend Exteriors West! When this guy blew me off, I went with Exteriors West and I couldn't have had a better experience. They were very responsive

We cannot say enough about how much we love our new 3 season room! The big sliding door opens up to the rest of the deck making it great for entertaining. We have great views on all three sides without the cold wind from the Strait!

I met with Doug Woodside today at my home to review a large outdoor enclosed project. He responded quickly by phone when I reached out for an appointment through his website. He very courteously set an agreeable time. My husband and I appreciate his candidness that his materials may not be suitable for the great open span we have in mind. We could work it in a different configuration, but he asked would we be most happy? I find him to be knowledgeable of general construction and especially the extent of the use of the materials he installs. Doug kindly gave us advice on what installation techniques
