Suzanne Friday is principal and founder of Friday Interior Design, a full-service interior design firm with a focus on residential projects. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Suzanne returned to her native city of Pittsburgh and joined architecture and engineering firm, Astorino and Associates as Vice President of Interior Design.
Friday Interior Design offers multiple levels of service. Suzanne Friday can design an entire house from top to bottom or is happy to tackle smaller projects such as individual rooms or unique spaces such as entries or dressing rooms. Suzanne has experience decorating all areas of a house including kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and entries.
Suzanne's introduction to the world of interior design began as a child. She grew up watching her mother and respected interior designer, Anne Genter, blend beautiful furniture, colors and fabrics to create livable works of art. She then went on to study interior design and fine arts in college, and spent a semester living in Italy, where she became immersed in and inspired by the country's art history and architecture.
