Jaan came to do a job to replace the planking from above my fireplace and bead board in bathrooms. He was also hired to do other repairs from another company that did poor work. Jaan was unsure of himself and sent pictures to me as the job progressed. Even after I showed him a picture of what I was looking for he did not get the vision.
He had to take the planking down several times. After only a day and a half I decided to stop the job because of poor workmanship and not performing as I expected. I told him I needed to think about it overnight before continuing the job. After much thought I did

True Carpentry is by far the best contractor we have worked with. Jaan was extremely patient as we changed details to our project. He caught every change and provided a revised quote each time, which minimized any potential for misunderstanding on the price of our project. He was punctual each day on arrival, as well as for lunch. He expended time and effort in communicating with his subcontractor to ensure the quality of the work completed. Jaan did a great job framing out basement and adding Trim. He has great craftsmanship, as well as extensive knowledge that he was able to contribute to our project.
While he couldn't get to the project as quite quickly as i liked. He gave me realistic expectations and always showed up when he said he would and finished on time.
He and his team are extremely professional and friendly and a pleasure to have in the house.

I used True Carpentry to complete a renovation in my master bath of a vacation home that I own. I was unable to oversee the construction and depended on Jaan for everything. I cannot say enough. He was a pleasure to work with , completely renovated the bath, sending me pictures all throughout. I would highly recommend True Carpentry. He was experienced, trustworthy and went out of his way to make me comfortable with not being onsite. His work was an extremely pleasant surprise when we finally arrived.

Working with Jaan was an absolute pleasure and delight. My husband and I liked him from the moment we met him. He is a true expert and a very kind person. He installed custom shiplap panels in our basement and then mounted the tv and fireplace. Jaan and his colleague installed shiplap panels from the top of our fireplace to the very top of our 18ft ceilings. He also mounted our 18ft drapes and lastly he installed our porch swing. The swing came with the typical hardware to install, but Jaan went the extra mile by installing wood brackets that would ensure it's durability. Jaan answered all of our
