DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A-1 started off good, but turned out to be simply a mirage. On yesterday they completed a job for a shower glass replacement. Upon start, I only received a invoice. I paid the balance due because online the project was unable to be started as product needed to be ordered. When I went to pay final bill there was a $200 dollar difference. I spoke to the office (certainly not the best) about this issue. After 40 minutes I just stated I will come in with my info. Once there, they asked if I ever got my estimate email. I only received a invoice email, BUT why would the estimate

We've used A-1 Glass twice now for frameless shower glass doors. They do GREAT work & are very friendly, communicated directly with us & showed up as promised to install on time. We will always recommend them & recommend you give them a try. Keep in mind, anything involving construction inside/outside of your home TAKES PATIENCE. Glass work is not something that is done quickly, nor do you want it done quickly. Darrell & Shanaya & their install team did an amazing job!! We're very happy as will be our guests who'll no longer have a shower curtain falling on their heads!!

I wish I coukd give zero stars...
My property manager hired them to check my windows in my home. I called earlier this week to make an appointment for today, they gave me the time frame of 2pm to 3pm. I rearranged my schedule to stay home all day. Come 3:30pm I called the company to ask if they were still coming and if so when. The first assistant told me her manager was at my property at noon. First, why would they show up at my apartment 2 hours prior to the appointment, let alone not call or text? I told her I was home all day and never heard a person knock. She said she would ask him to come

A1 Glass is a great company!! I needed a broken window repaired and I was frustrated because most of the companies that I called would not even come to my house because they only would consider jobs that involved replacing every window in my house. A local contractor told me about A1 Glass of Charleston. They came when they said they would, they sent me a text to inform me when they were on the way. Marvin was a true professional. He was able to repair my window which saved me a lot of money. I have older casement windows. He found the parts needed and repaired my window. The price was reasonable

This company is prompt, professional, and has great communication. This company was also the only company in Charleston that seemed to actually want business. Darryl was very communicative and motivated during the whole process. He and his team did a great job with our mirrors in a very short amount of time. Their receptionist at their office was very professional when it came to scheduling too. Highly recommend.

Everyone I spoke with and had the pleasure of meeting was super helpful and kind. They sent someone out fast, glass was ordered quickly, and install was a breeze. I had a couple small issues with my frameless shower. I tried contacting several other glass companies, even the one that installed mine, but had no luck with any of them that wanted to assist me. I was then told about A-1 Glass which I contacted immediately. The owner himself came to my house the next day just to inspect what needed to be done.
