Superior Glass, Inc. was founded in 1978, originating from Kempinsky Glass & Paint, which was started in 1925. Today, Superior Glass is one of the largest full service glass shops in the Upper Midwest, specializing in meeting all of your glass needs. Superior Glass has always had the distinction of being a company that provides professional service with a level of competence and quality that is second to none.
The auto glass department has been a strong and growing part of SGI, beginning in the mid 1980's. The auto glass industry has changed quite a bit in the last 25 years. Randy Ellison, SGI's Auto Glass Manager, has rolled with the changes, continuing to provide the latest advancements in auto glass replacement and repair.
Auto glass is typically covered under comprehensive coverage. You should have this if you carry "full coverage" and if you have a deductible that will be out of pocket which you will be responsible for. Superior Glass will do all of the paperwork for your claim! However, some insurance companies may require you to make a phone call to a glass network and set up your claim.

We had four storm windows repaired for a client recently and the quality of the work was excellent! They were 40 year old Pella interior window panes and the some of them had developed cracks over time. We brought them in and Tim explained how they were constructed and how they would be repaired. What started out as really a really bad experience turned out to be a good example of nice customer service. I brought in a windshield to be duplicated and they cut the wrong thickness glass and threw my original in the trash. I ordered new glass from a place in California and they completely reimbursed me.
