Mountain Air Heating and Cooling recommends a scheduled maintenance program for your heating and cooling unit due to the fact that having your equipment maintained properly will ensure that it works when needed. In the event that your unit is not working our maintenance program customers benefit from PRIORITY service and a discount on any repairs.
Q: Will turning my thermostat down low cool my home faster? A: Turning your thermostat way down will not cool your home any faster it just causes the unit to run longer and if you set the unit too low you are taking the chance of freezing the unit. Q: Will a dirty filter or dirty condenser affect the cooling?
No one likes having their heat/air system die on them but the folks at Mountain Air made it as painless as possible. I was given a quote for 3 different systems and had them all explained to me. I did appreciate the service technician taking the time to go over the pros and cons of each system even explaining the effect each system would have on my electric and propane bills.

Her background has been in heating and air but later decided to explore a career in Property & Casualty Insurance that she excelled in for several years. Brittney and JB have been together since 2005 and JB founded Mountain Air Heating & Cooling in 2011.

I have been trusting this company for 7 or 8 years now, and have absolutely nothing negative to say. Everyone there is above average at a minimum, with the majority just wonderful to interact with. My last visit was performed by Tony, and he was both nice and sharp. Thanks to the entire company, and the services you have made me so happy with over the years.

I am so impressed and thankful for mountain air. I flipped over to heat and our heater was not working properly it was blowing cold air. When I called mountain air this morning I was put on the list to be fit in today, JB was at my house within 30 minutes and had my heat up and running in no time. This was an amazing experience and wonderful customer service. Thank you guys so much!

I would highly recommend Mountain Air to anyone and we have told all of our local friends about them. Paul has been our technician and checked our HVAC system twice now. I have been thoroughly impressed by Paul's professionalism each time. I am one of those customers who wants to know how things work and he is always so patient with my many questions and very knowledgeable. It is not often you find a company with employees who are as personable as Paul!

I first learned of Mountain Air about 5 years ago when they installed new ductwork in my home prior to a remodel. Mr JB said to me "If we don't earn your business, our competitors will !" I have called upon Mountain Air since for all my semiannual maintenance. They are most professional and never try to sell you options as their competitors do.

I hired Mountain Air Heating and Cooling to do an annual maintenance on our 12,000sqft office/warehouse. JB came out and quoted the job for me and the price was very reasonable. The day before our first service I was notified Tony was going to be my Tech and was going to show up at 8:00AM. Tony was on time, very polite, and did a very thorough job.

The Mountain Air employees have always been professional and attentive to detail. They always come with everything they need to do their job and if they make any kind of a little mess, they're quick to clean it up. I won't call anyone else. Thermostat was reading 81 degrees and in August in SC, you do not want to be long without any AC. I called Mountain Air and actually received their answering machine at first. As I was getting ready to call another company, they called me back! They admitted to missing my call and wanted to see how they could help. Talk about immediate customer service. I didn't even leave a message but they wanted to make sure they spoke with me and within 30 minutes they had a tech out to our house to assess the problem. Called about the downstairs unit, but they assessed the upstairs unit as well and found it

JB came to our house and answered all of my questions, while at the same time working to get my system fixed. I felt as if I was botheriing him and he insisted that I ask questions if I needed. They are very resonable and their customer service is among the best. We will be using them for all our A/C and duct work services.

From the time we called them, the assistant was courteous, she listened to what our problem was, and repeated back exactly what we said the issue was. JB called me and said he would be there at a certain time and he was definitely on time. I had questions about my system, and JB answered all my questions without hesitation. My wife and I were very happy with the customer service and the pricing. We are definitely recommending them to all our friends and neighbors.

This company was referred to us by our realtor (Rhonda Alexander of Coldwell Banker, also ranked 5 ⭐️) during closing to make some repairs and updates the seller reluctantly agreed upon. They were great, replacing parts and updating what was necessary and then some. They recently came for their first routine maintenance visit. Everything was fine… and working properly, but a few days afterwards the house wasn’t cooling off like usual. They sent the owner of the company out, JB, and he had it working in no time. They also sent someone to follow up a couple days later to
