Bob Ethington is the owner and founder who started at Wickes Lumber in 1963 and worked there until 1976. Bob then started EBS on 7th street picking up lumber as it was ordered and delivering it to the jobsite. He moved to our current location in 1979 and has been operating successfully ever since. Ashley's been a part of the lumber business since 1982 and runs the yard with the utmost professionalism.
At Ethington Building Supply we offer delivery to Henry, Spencer, Shelby, Franklin, Anderson, Jefferson, Oldham and Bullitt counties, as well as all of Southern Indiana. But we can go anywhere on a case per case basis, so contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your individual delivery requirements.

My first visit will be my last.... My last visit to Lowe's, Home Depot, or any other hardware, home supply, plumbing supply, electric supply store in the future provided Ethington's is open for the time I necesitate anything sold there for my present (or future) application. This guy is a hoot. Easy going, knowledgeable, and the first few words I heard him say made me chuckle with amusement. I thought immediately, I like this guy. I'm a fair judge of people, and this I did figure correctly. I won't be going ANYWHERE ELSE, from that day on I made my commitment to ETHINGTON'S. I am to be remodeling

Prices are fair and competitive with the big box stores. Quality of wood was average at best. However, my low score is due to being lied to by employees and the incompetence of the delivery driver and a lack of an attempt at a resolution.
Order was to be delivered on Friday 7/10. At 3:45pm I called to ensure I was still set for delivery, as I witnessed their delivery truck at another house earlier that day in my neighborhood. The person whom I spoke with told me that the driver had just left 15 minutes ago and would arrive shortly. By 6 pm, no delivery. And since their office closes at 5, no one

Ethington helped build my new home and I'm grateful for the service they provided. As with any build, there was a few hiccups along the way, but Keith Ethington and Ethington Building Supply stepped up and resolved the issue to my satisfaction.
