Gas Inserts Report

A gas fireplace insert burns gas and is inserted into an existing masonry fireplace. If you have a masonry fireplace that needs a facelift, an insert is there to fill the gap and rejuvenate your room. This means that it will exclusively take the place of your masonry fireplace, by connecting the insert to the chimney and flue leading outside.

We have had a horrible experience. We have a beautiful fireplace that we have not been able to use because it doesn’t draw. Installed two months ago. Todd will not answer calls. It has been freezing and fireplace sits there not being used because we can not get any help. I would never recommend

"We also replace and/or enhance existing fireplaces. Call one of our representatives to discuss possible changes or enhancements to your existing fireplace. It's easy and cost-effective to change that old, inefficient masonry fireplace into a clean-burning, heat-producing fireplace by running gas into the fireplace and installing vent-free gas logs that will efficiently heat your home". This is an exact quote taken from their website. I went in to discuss replacing an existing set of gas logs and was rudely informed that they DON'T do that type of work.

Get the installation costs in writing. They have quite the mark-up on vent piping. Be careful to not get stung......

I had an old wood burning fireplace converted to gas 15 years ago and finally decided it was time to get a 'log set'. I wanted something contemporary. Brittany at Hearth & Fireplace Creations was awesome. She knew just what to order and helped with the glass selections as well. I am so pleased. It looks better than expected. Even my husband said it looked better than he would have ever expected!
Brittany recommended installation by Daniel Price Gas (Dan THE Gas Man) who did a great job as well. Love it when a plan works out and everyone provides excellent service. Thanks so much for all your help

I made a shot-in-the-dark call with a stupid question about removing the residue on the glass of a gas fireplace in a home that I’m renting and these folks were very helpful on the telephone. When I stopped in they were even more so. They took the time to explain how to use the product and treated us as if we were spending far more than the $10 cost of the product. Super friendly!
