Paid over $50k for a solar system that goes down every time it rains. It's been over a year and not only can they not figure out why, but they will not return phone calls or emails to try to figure out the problem. The last time it went down, I left 6 (very polite) messages asking for a return call or email, with no reply. There are so many solar companies out there, go with someone who takes pride in their services and returns calls!

Our unit and our upstairs neighbor's unit in Cambridge installed identical 3.2kW systems at the same time in 2012 and have been incredibly happy with the way the system has performed. I really appreciate the professional and no-nonsense approach that IPS takes and I have recommended them to a good number of friends and neighbors who have also been happy with the results. My system was installed 5 years ago this summer. The installation was extremely well done. All the workers were very professional, courteous and on time. The system has performed well and as expected. I've had two fairly minor issues, one last year and one recently. Twice I've left messages that were responded to quickly by Tyler. I've also had the pleasure of speaking with Mariana at the office; she was very helpful, spending time understanding the latest issue and getting me scheduled with Tyler as soon as possible. Both issues were handled and resolved by Tyler in a timely and professional manner

We are so happy that we worked with Independent Power Systems when we decided to go Solar. The sales rep helped us figure out our needs and helped to design a system that would more than cover our use. The installation team, headed by Tyler Lagasse, did a great and quick job and the installation is so neat and unobtrusive that many people are not even aware that we have gone solar. The most important factor in my review is that since installation, we have not paid for electricity and currently run a credit balance with National Grid. Great experience and service. We installed 52 panels on our Quincy, MA office a few years back and the system is performing perfectly. I then installed 23 panel on our home in Cohasset and are loving the savings. IPS is professional with great customer service. Each employee clearly loves what they do. Highly Recommend!

We had IPS install a solar system on our home in September 2012. Since then we have produced all our home energy needs and extra producing 6 to 7 Megawatts of energy annually. We also get about $225 per megawatt when we sell them on the SREC (Solar renewable energy credit) market. So we save about $2400 per year on energy with our solar panels. They helped with financing . It was no more expensive than an average new car. We have avoid producing over 20,000 lbs of carbon pollution. They were great durig installation and worked seamlessly with our roofer who was replacing the roof before the panels
