Services
We start the turf installation process by digging down about 3 to 5 inches, and removing all of the soil and substrate we dig up. Once we're down to the 'site prep' level, we handle the removal of any existing irrigation installation, including capping and or removing sprinklers. Then, we lay down a woven weed barrier to ensure that no remaining root systems send up new shoots.
We have installed hundreds of putting greens, using largely the same quality-focused turf installation process we use for all of our landscaping projects. However, we understand that in order to create a consistent, durable putting surface, you have to take it a step further. After we have removed the top layer of substrate and removed any existing irrigation equipment, we build a 4 inch high sub-frame outlining the entire putting area.

Competitive bid timely response and quality work. Company was clear on the scope of the project and additional materials needed to fix drainage issues related to the site. Staff was on point respectful and competent. Managers were communicating with us on timing of the work and any issues that may have delayed start date. Completed project was outstanding and an excellent experience all around.

So I'll be posting here and other sites where there are ratings just so customers can have a heads up. If I was going to rate Tony and this company on the job they did on my putting green it would not be a 1 star. It would be closer to a 4. They did a good job on my putting green. At the time they were doing the putting green I talked with Tony on 3 separate occasions about doing turf in a bocce ball court for me as well. He quoted in writing and in person $12 a square foot. Once I built the bocce ball court, I called Tony to schedule. Tony changed the quote to over $7 more a square foot, over

Extremely happy with the results! Tony and his crew (Luis, Ed, and the other crew team members) were great to deal with. They know their stuff and I felt like I could put my trust into them and I’d be happy with our first artificial turf putting green. It turned out great, and the quality of their product and their services seem to be top notch. Would use them again!

Satisfied customer! I am a Landscape Architect who has been looking for a Contractor to complete a redesign of our front and back yards. I contacted 7 Contractors, most were booked up for the next six months, or didn't want to touch a small project. I solicited bids from four Contractors, two responded with estimates, and NorCal responded rapidly with the lowest bid.

Tony and the crew did an exceptional job on my backyard. They were professional and timely (finished in 5 days a full day earlier than promised). The product is so good I can’t even tell that it is synthetic turf. They also left the area in front of the house cleaner than they found it. I couldn’t be happier with the out come. Wish I had taken before pictures.

Tony and the crew at Northern California Construction exceeded our expectations during our backyard renovation. The attention to detail, the precision, careful planning, and tremendous communication efforts brought our backyard dreams to life. Crew was prompt and courteous. The quality of the turf is unparalleled and it’s so pretty. Tony promised me he would give me everything I wanted and he delivered tenfold. A truly worthwhile experience start to finish.
