Services
The Mellen Company was founded in 1966 by one man who believed in creating high temperature furnaces that could maximize work time and minimize uncontrolled temperature variations. Mr. Mellen, an avid scientist, combined his years of experience with constant research to develop top-of-the-line products.
Move your product vertically or horizontally within the furnace with fine-tuned precision and control. This system allows the operator to rotate the ampoule clockwise, stop, and rotate counterclockwise over 9,999 times, or as many as the user requires. If our products do not meet your requirements, please contact us.

Decent place to work but not great.
-The Bad
People in the front offices have a strange attitude towards the shop workers
People in the shop are pretty grouchy and will smile to your face but talk behind your back.
If you do work through temping you have to work an absurd 640 hours then have to work an additional 90 days before benefits kick in.
The standard level of quality is pretty low and "good enough" most of the time.
The Equipment in the shop is pretty dated and poorly maintained.
Parts are scattered throughout the shop and "pn-hand" materials like bolts and nuts are constantly out
