John is fantastic to work with. He is very experienced, and has an amazing ability to help pick colors and make them work on your home. He responds very quickly during the project, and is on site every day to talk to you and monitor the work. He will go to great lengths to make sure he can find the right materials for your home. He hires people that take pride in their work, and are very respectful of the property and neighbors. It was a great experience working with John. Highly recommend JRB for your residential project!

I would recommend JRB painting to anyone. The prep work and care taken when doing the job is not one you come across often. Everything- sanding, repairs, even making sure the space was cleaned at the end was done well. Amazing attention to detail, and at the end my house looked brand new!

Hands down, John is the best contractor I have worked with in any capacity in my lifetime. He is transparent, honest, trustworthy, and his crew is held to the same high standard. Every other painter I had look at the job was scared off by the work that I wanted performed on my home which included cedar clapboard replacement on one side of my home, porch reconstruction, and restoration / re-creation of long-lost architectural details due to years of neglect by previous owners.

There's a reason JRB has all five-star reviews. John and his team took on a big project with our little house. Our 160-year-old house hadn't been maintained for nearly 30 years. The clapboard was rotted, paint was coming off in sheets and there were more cracks and holes than you could count. John and his team did such an amazing job. They were timely, professional, cleanly and were very reasonable on price. For any painting job in the future I'll be going right to John, and I'd encourage everyone else in Buffalo to do the same. The job is 90% complete and it's made such an amazing difference.

We had a challenging project with high peaks, extensive prep work and carpentry restoration. The JRB did a fantastic job on the painting and prep ,as well as, doing significant clapboard & cedar shingle restoration. John and Justin paid attention to every detail and made recommendations when they encounter items that needed attention with no surprises. The guys cleaned the site daily and protected the flower beds and plants which were damage free. Excellent work and value.

This is the second time JRB has painted the interior of my house. They painted the entire downstairs including kitchen, living room, dining room and hallway. John and I reviewed the main color but basically it was his and his staff that picked out all the rest of the colors. My initial instinct is go more conservative, but I left it up to them as I know they are good with color and it looks so wonderful, the kitchen is so warm and the rest has a more trendy, modern look which is a nice contrast to my hardwood floors and traditional fireplace.
