On January 5th, 2022 we had Flower City come to our home to remove 2 very large poplar trees that were close to our house and to prune an ornamental cherry tree. Peter's crew arrived on time at 8 AM and he and his crew worked continuously until the job was completed. Peter and his crew worked extremely well together and were very professional. They went above and beyond in order to ensure our satisfaction with the job. I would highly recommend Flower City Tree if you need tree removal, stump removal, or tree trimming and pruning.

Flower City Tree were one of the most professional, responsive, and skilled teams we could have asked for and the work they did on trimming and pruning our locust tree was first class. David (the main team leader) was friendly, courteous, made solid recommendations regarding the removal of deadwood and aesthetic balance and, took the time to walk me through every aspect of the operation. The team deployed their equipment in a timely manner, worked really well together, and removed all debris in a very thorough manner. Peter and his team did an excellent job pruning all of our trees and cleaned up beautifully. It was such a bitter cold day and they didn’t even complain. I also appreciated they got back to me at the beginning, as the other places I called never returned my call. They even came out on their own to take pictures of the property and submit a proposal and I didn’t need to be at home.

I hired Flower City Tree to remove a huge tree in my yard. They were punctual and professional. They took care to protect the grass from their machinery by using thick pads under their path, they raked leaves and branches as they worked, left the area as if a giant tree was never there and they were very nice. I cannot say enough good things about them and have already contracted with them to remove 3 more trees in the yard. Thank you!!

From start to finish, Flower City Tree was exceptional and efficient. I truly feel the team went above and beyond to meet the needs of our project! We had a deadline for project completion set by our home owner's policy and they moved our project up to meet this deadline. Our project was completed by Peter and his crew who were wonderful! Our experience with Flower City Tree was outstanding from our initial consultation to final cleanup. Peter and his crew demonstrated their exceptional skill, pride in their work and concern for our and each other’s safety. It was an impressive sight to observe. In under 4 hours a large tree was removed, three trees were trimmed, and the entire work area was cleaned with barely a trace of their work remaining. I highly recommend their service.

I was told that I would receive an estimate for 2 trees by email. I never heard anything, no email, no call, nothing! I called and left a voicemail to see if there was a problem with the information - 2 weeks later, still no one responded... AGAIN! Here's a professional tip... if you're too busy for my business just tell me your not taking on any new business right now, don't lie and say you will be out to my house to give me an estimate.

This is an amazing 2nd generation family company. From first contact with Julie who texted back and forth with me on Labor Day, to completion of what we saw as a huge job removing three large old trees that fell in a freak five-minute windstorm, we have been truly delighted. The Flower City crew left a short while ago, and I wanted to write a review immediately. They were exceptional in every way - from their responses, estimates, work, interactions and clean up. There were 4 people working non-stop in what was a challenging job in a very confined city space - requiring a lot of hand hauling. Flower City Tree just removed 3 Ash Trees from my backyard. I can not say enough about this company. Accessing my backyard was difficult, but they managed to do it very professionally and carefully. Two of the trees were within 4ft of my pool and they were extremely careful and removed the branches and limbs with crazy precision. They were very neat, quick and took great care in my property while doing the job. All the guys were very friendly and professional and seemed to take a lot of pride in their work. I would recommend them, hands down, over any other tree removal company.

Flower City Tree recklessly damaged our huge Maple. They lied, yelled, breached the contract & left a mess for us to have to deal with.
The job was to install 2 cables in the top 1/3 of the canopy (per ANSI specs), doing weight reduction pruning & installing a brace rod through the trunk, to stabilize a crack.
The crew arrived & did some small branch pruning. One guy went up & installed the cables, one at the right height, one way too low.
They had a small battery operated drill to go through a HUGE tree. I could hear the guy complaining about not having the right tools.

I cannot say enough good things about Flower City Tree. They were extremely responsive from the moment we requested a quote, showing up at our house just a few hours later to provide an estimate on the removal of a very sizeable tree in our backyard. They have a gigantic crane that allows them to efficiently and carefully remove the branches. This made them the most affordable estimate we got out of 4 other options. I needed a very large tree pruned and cleaned up as it's branches and twigs were constantly falling with every wind onto mine and my neighbor's yard. I contacted Flower City Tree through the Yelp app and requested a quote. They sent someone the very next day to assess the tree and I didn't have to interrupt my schedule to be there in person. They emailed my the quote with pictures of my tree and offered other recommendations to consider. We had two huge Popular (Cottonwood) trees in our back yard that were 3-1/2 feet in diameter at the base and about 80 feet high. They were also only about 3 feet from the foundation and beginning to stress it. If that was not bad enough there was no access to the back yard for equipment because we have a brook that runs behind the house. So we needed a company with a crane to remove the trees.
