Koontz Lake Regional Sewer District's mission is to provide the community with a safe, effective wastewater infrastructure and to manage the system such that its current costs are kept to a minimum while maintaining a sound financial base to assure that its operation is sustainable for generations to come.
The KLRSD will meet every third Tuesday of the month at 5:30 PM CST. All customers can now register their accounts so they can review and pay their bill on-line. The District has experienced a number of service calls related to so-called "Flushable Wipes". These products can and will plug pipes, grinder pumps, and sewer lines.
Regardless of marketing claims, sewer systems nationwide are fighting the effects of these wipes and the repair costs associated with them. Please DO NOT flush these products, cloth rags, or diapers. They will plug the grinder pump that your service empties into, and repairs will be required.
