We love old houses and old tools! Butler Restorations specializes in careful repairs and thoughtful updating of antique homes in south-central New Hampshire while Timeless Tools offers quality authentic tools for traditional trades.

We specialize in analyzing and solving challenges in historic structures such as fitting modern conveniences, repairing weak foundations, replacing odd-sized doors and windows, and other projects to increase the joy of owning an older home.Mike Butler also designs and builds custom storage solutions and free-standing cabinets.

Jane Butler is now one of the select group of professionals nationwide to earn the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation indentifying her as a designer with the skills and knowledge necessary to remodel or modify a home to meet the unique needs of the older population, disabled owers or their visitors.
Services
Jane earned a degree in textiles and applied design, then managed a fabric store, leading the chain of 40 shops with the highest sales per square foot. Several jobs in sales and marketing finally led to establishing her own advertising agency in which she developed marketing plans and produced the materials to fulfill those ideas.
Master carpenter Mike Butler of Butler Restorations LLC offers a custom cabinet-making shop as well as careful renovation of your historic home. We have the skills and equipment to complete any project from excavation to framing to drywall finishing, interior and exterior painting, siding and window replacement, log home repair, decks and porches, and decorative trim.
Basic items that are usually purchased to use such as planes, chisels, and other hand tools are thoroughly cleaned. Bench and block planes are completely dissassembled, sharpened if appropriate and tote repaired if needed. Chisels are sharpened and fitted with new handles if needed.
We search New England to find collectible and user tools to work with wood, metal, leather and more. Sign up to receive our semi-monthly newsletter about New England tool-related and/or historical events as well as new tool acquisitions. Show schedule on home page. We have many more pieces than are shown here and buy tools every week.
