The Timber Tailors exists to provide the residents of Northern NJ with Distinctive Tree Care Services. Tree service companies in Northern NJ abound. They range from weekend warriors equipped with little more than a chain saw and pick-up truck to professional operations that are fully equipped, knowledgeable, and experienced.
Northern New Jersey's beautiful landscape is indebted, in a large part, to it's trees. Yet there are times when removals of trees are necessary. Tree removals are a delicate process that requires the right knowledge, personnel, and equipment. Our work is accomplished in a safe manner, paying special attention to make minimal impact to your landscape.
The Timber Tailors can handle both large and small stump removals, with the ability to access most stumps behind gates and on steep slopes. Stump removals can be incorporated into the tree removal process or saved for a later date. Regardless of the timing, stump removal has it's benefits, namely removing tripping hazards and allowing for the replanting of trees or grass.

Timber Tailors is somebody I can recommend without reservation. I will admit that I’m pretty particular . I never give a recommendation unless I’m 100% confident that it will not disappoint whomever. I have used Timber Tailor's more than once. The company is family run and they are courteous, well mannered and responsible. They do not take any job that appears, rather they make appointments and complete their work when they say and clean up your property as if their own. They know their work- can diagnosis tree diseases and will also let you know if a job is too small or too big to come to your neighborhood. If they work on your property you will be in good hands & not worry about your securty - very trustworthy. I get cards from them every year during the Christmas seasons and updates on their

I assume this company picks and chooses who they want to work for. I've tried calling them and leaving messages to receive a quote for the trees I need to cut down with no call back in return. Then, by coincidence, I see them outside cutting trees for my neighbor across the street and I politely asked the older gentlemen if I can have my trees looked at in order to have them cut down (roughly 13 trees)- Not meaning RIGHT NOW. He then asked me when Am I looking to do it and since I told him "as soon as they can" , he proceeded to tell me to go with the other companies I received a quote from. He
