Blades of Grass Lawn Care, LLC is a locally owned complete property grounds maintenance company; located in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. After retiring from the United States Army with 25 1/2 years of service, the owner Johny Crooks established the company in 2009. He believes in keeping abreast with industry lawn care trends and expands his knowledge and expertise by attending forums, workshops and classes.
By far, this yard company has been the most responsive and responsible I have had since I have been in my house for 13 years. Mr. Crooks has shown that he wants to run a professional organization second to none. The week he was to do my yard, he was scheduled for that Monday; well with my luck, it rained that day and everyday until Thursday.
Our weekly lawn mowing services and bi-weekly lawn mowing services are exactly the same, the only difference is the frequency of service visits to your home. Weekly lawn maintenance is every seven days and bi-weekly lawn cutting services are every fourteen days. The lawn or grass will be cut at a height of around 3" to 3 1/2" for St Augustine grass and 2' to 2 1/2" for centipede grasses.
We only offer the best pine straw available, long needle pine straw (fresh straw) not the cheap stuff with leaves and sticks in it. Pine needles decompose and add organic material to the soil. They also aerate the soil and improve drainage as they decompose. Pine straw mulch may also help regulate the soil temperature.
Spring or Fall leaf clean up services in Savannah, GA or leaf removal services in savannah, GA consist of mulching, picking up and removing leafs and other vegetation debris from the yard. We use lawn mowers with mulching blades to make your property look it's best. We also blow leafs and branches out of flower beds and around the house.

This team is amazing. I have used them for 3 years now and havnt had a single hiccup. They come on time and are super fast. The yard always looks great and they always leave everything clean and presentable. If I wasn't leaving Savannah, I would use this company for years to come. Johny the owner is polite and responsive. All around 5 stars, extremely happy!!

I contacted Blades of Grass after calling probably about ten other local lawn care companies I found on Google. They were the only ones who were able to schedule a date/time for a residential mow within the timeframe I was looking for (less than one week). They were extremely courteous and professional, the price point was great, and I really appreciated that we could communicate via text as that made it so much easier. I would highly recommend them.

Blades of grass lawn service is an extremely professional company. I've used their service for 2 years now and they have been great from letting me know a day in advanced when they are coming to service my lawn to coming back another day because I forgot to close my doggy door so they could mow the back yard. Johny and Blades of Grass is a great reliable service! As someone who lives out of the area, Savannah historically has terrible landscaping reliability and most have not cracked the nut on collecting payment from out of state landlords. Fortunately, this company sends photos after each service and has an online payment option. I would highly recommend based on their quality service, online payment options, and honest communication.
