STS Arborists (formerly Sanner Tree Service LLC) offers tree removal, trimming, and pruning. We also handle stump grinding and removal as well as tree planting and transplanting services. Our team provides tree pest control and tree disease management as well as firewood sales for local pickup. Additionally, for those in need, our Community Wood Bank can help keep you warm when the weather grows cold.
Fall and winter are always cold anywhere in Pennsylvania, but especially so in our neck of the woods. Unfortunately, some members of our community struggle to warm their homes due to financial difficulties. Because of this, Tim Shawley and Nathan Sanner felt led to serve those who need help heating their homes.

We had STS arborists take down trees for the second time on our property. They are responsive, knowledgeable, efficient and reasonably priced. At one point we had so many limbs and tree pieces down that you could not see our yard but not for long, they clean up so amazingly well and quick you would never even have known they were here!!! Super impressive. Would recommend to anyone looking for services. Thank you guys!

We recently had one tree cut down and several trimmed. They were great . The tree was dropped right were we asked and it was cleaned up well. They did excellent work and I will have them back again next summer to do additional work.

We had a great experience with STS Arborists. They were professional and courteous and they clearly like what they do. We are very pleased with the outcome after they trimmed trees and pruned. We needed to get some trees trimmed on a tight timeline in order to avoid a municipal violation and fee. Tim and his crew were able to get down to the property within our desired timeline and complete the job. They sent pictures when they were done and they did a good job. The price was reasonable for the work.

They are truly professionals and do a perfect job paying attention to fine detail like your lawn, your surroundings, your neighbors property, and they know the business of tree care as only a real arborist would.

Very professional outfit. Fair pricing, easy to work with and very careful about doing the job right. I had them remove a 50-60ft tall maple tree that was close to two houses and prune another with complete cleanup. When they were done the only thing left were a few specs of sawdust in the grass. Aside from the missing tree you would never known they were there. I highly recommend talking to them for your tree needs.

They showed up in record time and rapidly removed over a dozen medium-large trees for me. As well as chipping up and hauling the small stuff While leaving me with years worth of my own firewood (at my request)! Excellent pricing and outstanding staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable and while the assessor had very good recommendations for my trees, they gave no resistance when I insisted on what I wanted and performed the task precisely to my design. I will always go here first for my tree service needs in the future.

Tim and the team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. The evaluations of my trees was excellent and their plan of action to care for the trees to keep them growing beautifuly was exceptional.

Great service !!!!! I started with asking for a tree to be topped. They showed me the folly of my request and it made perfect sense. I then asked for removal. The representative got ALL the information necessary, and carefully documented that with words and pictures that were included in the bid. The cost was VERY reasonable, and I accepted. This was done on the phone and by email. Everything was done efficiently and with care. The crew was scheduled, I was informed, and they arrived when expected. They went over what needed to be done from the cutting of the tree to the piling of the wood. The
