We import into Mexico from Europe an all-weather porcelain body that is then hand paint by artists in Dolores Hidalgo and Puebla, the most renowned source for high quality artisan ceramics in Mexico.Each tile reveals a texture and a luminescence of color not commonly found on other artisan ceramic tiles.
We complement our collection with nearly 100 different designs, each available in a variety of sizes, with 15 colors of coordinating field and molded tiles, Talavera sinks, house numbers and murals. Indoors, envision kitchen backsplashes, bathroom sinks and showers, stair risers and floor accent tiles.

Mexican tile history began in the late 16th Century when potters from the Spanish city of Talavera de la Reina settled in Puebla, a two hour drive east of Mexico City.
Our broken clay tiles are mixed together. Selections are random in style and color and are approximately 2/3 decorated and 1/3 field color tiles. Our porcelain bodies are very strong and seldom break. Antoni Gaud's Park Gell (pronounced par kay gwel) was originally intended as part of a residential garden community.

Malibu Tile's origin comes from Malibu Potteries, which, though only in existence for six years, distributed tile world-wide. Founded by a mother of the owners of the famous Adamson House on Malibu beach in California, it created the tiles for the house which Wikipedia calls a "museum of tile" and the "Taj Mahal of Tile".
