Services
Durkin's began in a barn on Mallory Street, Danbury, CT. in 1904. It was founded by Patrick Durkin, an Irish immigrant, and his son Denis, who was born in America in 1886. At first, the company was making supplies for Danbury's world recognized hatting industry, but quickly started producing shading products when they realized the need in the area.

Jeff, Holly, and the Durkin's crew did a beautiful job on our wedding tent this weekend. They were professional, punctual, and easy to work with- we couldn't have asked for better service on our wedding day. Everything from the tent to the tables, chairs, linens, etc. came out beautifully. Highly recommend and will definitely be using them again for any future events! Thanks you guys!

We bought an awning from them about two years ago and loved it so much we bought another. Quality is superb and the entire team from sales to install were friendly and professional. We had a minor issue with one of the awnings and they came out to fix it right away. Highly recommend this place. 5 stars!

Durkin Tent provided a tent, lighting and dance floor to our wedding. The pricing was excellent and everything went perfectly smooth. The installers were very nice and worked hard in sweltering heat to put up the equipment in a timely manner. We had the tent set up for a long weekend, which as great so we didn't have to rush around setting up everything else. The inside staff, particularly Barbara and Jeff, were SO NICE and patient with all of our needs. I would recommend this family-owned company in a heartbeat.
