Needed a spare key for my 2002 Ford Ranger because I locked my keys in my truck on accident trying to jump start my battery a few days ago. I went to the Ford dealership to get a spare but it cost almost 300$ for a key so they recommended me this cool key making shop called A-Abbot Locksmith I asked for a quote for a key and they gave me a reasonable offer and it was way less than what the dealership wanted so I accepted it. Hands down the fastest and best quality work in town! Also the cheapest! I needed the locks at my shop rekeyed and Evan was here within the hour. Evan was very knowledgeable, fast, professional, and what I loved most he was courteous to my customers coming in. I had an old deadbolt that fell apart and I needed a replacement. I called and talked to Jim. He was able to give me a couple of price options and he was able to set the new deadbolt to my original key (so I could use my one key for the 3 deadbolts on my 3 different doors). The price was right and the service was fast. I highly recommend and will use again.

My mechanic recommended A-Abbot Locksmith after my door lock was damaged by someone who broke into the car. I spoke to Jim on the phone and he suggested that, before investing in a new cylinder, I bring the car by the shop so he could try to repair the existing one. He was unable to do so because the cylinder was too badly damaged and he consequently refused any payment for his time, though he worked on it for close to an hour. After my mechanic ordered a new cylinder, Jim then rekeyed and installed it in less than an hour. It works perfectly.

I had keyed a deadbolt to match my other locks and then promptly tossed the wrong set of keys in the trash. (sigh)
Jim and his team are great - I brought the deadbolt in and 20 minutes later walked out with everything taken care of and my mistake magically disappeared. Thanks for bailing me out Jim, I greatly appreciate your help....totally recommended.
