Services
The Providence Revolving Fund (PRF) established in 1980, as an independent non-profit corporation, with the mission of preserving historic buildings and places of cultural significance by providing lending and services to promote equitable neighborhood revitalization.
PRF offers affordable home repair loans for the exterior renovation of homes 50+ years old. Our products have flexible underwriting and terms that make non-traditional lending possible. Not only are we responsive and flexible, but our PRF also provides soup to nuts services that support homeowners through the renovation process.
PRF provides Developers with customize-able financing including but not limited to Pre-Development, Construction, Bridge, and Mezzanine loans. Priority is given to projects that promote deed restricted mixed-income projects where there is a preservation component. Assistance is not limited to projects in Providence.
Providence Revolving Fund works to preserve Providence's architectural heritage and stimulate community revitalization through advocacy, lending, technical assistance, and development in historic areas. Since 1982, our Neighborhood Loan Fund has invested over $10 million in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods and Historic Districts to preserve the character and charm of aging Providence properties.
The Providence Revolving Fund is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a long history of providing affordable loans and support to historic properties in Providence and beyond. Whether donating in dollars, salvage items, property or time, there are many tax deductible ways to donate and show your support.
