Our collections include original and exclusive designs, as well as classic, Shaker-inspired pieces, all celebrating the warmth, texture and natural beauty of wood. All of our furniture is made using domestic hardwoods. Chilton offers nation-wide white glove delivery service, which means that your furniture will be carefully blanket wrapped, transported to your home, carried inside, and assembled, as needed. Your charge is a flat rate based upon delivery distance from Maine, and includes an unlimited number of pieces (a particularly good value for larger orders).
Delivery times can take between two and nine weeks, depending on location and distance from our Maine warehouse. For deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, or otherwise outside of the continental US, please call our showrooms to inquire about delivery options.

Located less than a mile from LL Bean, Chilton's Freeport showroom also includes our three-season "barn", where we offer discounted floor models and returns.

I ordered several pieces of furniture and made modifications to a few of my pieces. Zac was wonderful to work with. He was always very responsive and kept me up to date on the progress of my order. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. Their customer service was outstanding. The delivery people were superb with the care they took. Each piece of furniture was wrapped in a moving blanket and arrived in perfect condition.

We love Chilton. They're a family staple across generations and house holds. Wide selection of styles, products, and species. Very helpful staff and skilled craftsman willing to modify any piece to suit your specific needs. Great quality at a more accessible price point than Moser or Pompy. We have numerous pieces in our house and look forward to adding more in the future.

From placing to receiving my order, all services were courteous and timely. My chairs arrived well protected and workmanship is as excellent as I expected. Translating color charts of fabric from images to actual can be tricky in any case. I would consider making further purchases without hesitation.

Every step of the way, the team at Chilton was professional, courteous, responsive and helpful. I ordered a new Bethel Bookcase in April 2021. The in-store support was very helpful without being intrusive and they explained every step of the process. Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, lumber shortage, general COVID-y inefficiencies, my bookshelf was fairly significantly delayed. Even though this didn't feel like it was avoidable, they offered me a discount and were informative throughout the process. The delivery team was efficient, courteous and thorough.

We have purchased furniture from Chilton over at least three decades, beds, tables, bureaus and bookcases. Most recent purchase was a maple bookcase. While it took a while to receive it (Chilton is popular and items are often made to order) it was just exactly what we were looking for.

We have purchased multiple goods from Chilton, and are greatly satisfied with the quality of work, as well as our interactions with their entire staff. When we accidentally damaged one of our Boston chairs at home, their head of service, Eleanor Soule, offered us several options to have the chair repaired or replaced, all at a very fair price and in a timely manner. As a professional craftsman and small business owner, I recognize how difficult it can be to deliver high quality work, prompt customer care, and a reasonable price. Chilton excels at all three of these criteria.
