Steve is a pleasant, earnest, good man and has done some good work for us. He spread a layer if soil on my large front lawn. The grass underneath would eventually grow through the layer into a healthier and greener lawn. This worked for the most part. Still, crab grass is eating up our lawn, leaving an unsightly yellow eyesore. We never had crab grass since we moved here 13 years ago. I called Steve in hopes he would kill its roots, rototill and re-seed it. Steve said the crab grass was likely already there and would not fix it. But now I have to hire someone else to do the job. My 80 year old dad forgot to get an upfront quote from Steve Bickford. Big mistake. All he needed was to have a small, already chopped down tree, pulled ten feet up onto a flat spot. Steve was out of sight most of the ridiculous 4 hrs, (I searched for him at one point and couldn't find him), but got the job done. Then he handed my dad a bill for $1,200. I beleive Steve will do the right thing and rebate my dad at least $600. We're waiting on Murphys Garde Rd in Angels Camp. I look forward to reporting the math error has been made right.
