Services
A 28 foot box truck with a large inventory of gear that has the capability to tow generators. Class A drivers license is required for rental. A 34 foot box truck with the capability to transport a large equipment package and tow generators. Our shelved-out Electric trucks can handle any size job and have the ability to tow a generator to your location.
We at DTC have a deep respect and admiration for the history and craft of cinematic lighting, and although we embrace new trends in equipment and technology, we also like to keep around legacy lighting instruments to provide those who want to "look forward by looking back" and use retro lighting equipment for occasional different approaches and textures.
DTC's retail store stocks all the supplies you need for your production. We carry a full range of expendable items such as tapes, lamps, gel, gobos, paints, seamless paper, Fome-Cor, fabric, and more. DTC carries a large inventory of lighting filters & diffusions for incandescent and LED lights from the top manufacturers: Rosco, Lee & Gam.
DTC carries a wide range of grip equipment from well-known brands such as American Grip, Matthews Studio Equipment, Modern Studio, TRP Worldwide, and more. Apple Boxes, C-Stands, Combo stands, sandbags, milkcrates are in stock along with a variety of clamps, arms, and assorted hardware. DTC carries a wide selection of clamps.

A go to place for theatrical lighting supplies in the bay area. Prices are about what one would expect, decent stock of expendables, and friendly staff. Has saved my behind on a shoot more than once when my needs changed or I needed more of something than expected. Handles both sales and rentals of gear.
