Established in 1974 in Ottertail, Minnesota, Carr's Tree Service was founded by a father and his sons. The tree service business has now expanded to serve the majority of the state of Minnesota with offices in Ottertail, Alexandria, Rochester, St. Cloud, Mankato and the North Metro. In addition to Minnesota, we work in Eastern North Dakota, and Eastern South Dakota, Northern Iowa, and Western Wisconsin.
We are happy to offer the following residential tree services in the areas surrounding: Ottertail, Alexandria, St. Cloud, Anoka, Rochester, and Mankato. Our Certified Arborists are trained to provide professional tree trimming and tree removal practices from individuals where aerial baskets are needed.
We offer the following services to Utility Companies across the following areas: Minnesota, Eastern North Dakota, Eastern South Dakota, Western Wisconsin and Northern Iowa. We offer up-to-date data, which is critical to maximizing the benefits of your Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Working in unison with Star Energy, we track what is happening on your system.
Jake Carr resides in the Fergus Falls, MN area. His love for the outdoors coupled with his passion for competition and commitment brought him back to the family business. Jake coached football for nine years at the collegiate level while obtaining a degree in Life Science Biology (Education 5-12) and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership.

We have been trying for months to get a huge cottonwood tree removed at our lake property in preparation for building a new cabin this spring. We have contacted several tree removal services and several have never gotten back to us and one wanted to remove another tree in addition.
Over the weekend we sent an email to Carr’s Tree Service. They responded this morning and started removing the tree today and will finish tomorrow. They are wonderful to work with.

Derek came by my property to see which trees needed to come down, and gave me a very good price for their removal. Had a great chat with a good man.
I stopped by their Ottertail office on the way back to my hotel in Perham to thank Leeann for her support in helping me meet with Derek today, since I"m only in MN for a short time and couldn't have done it without her. Also met the rest of their front office team who were very informative and helpful.

5-stars is not enough for this company! Needed some large stumps ground and tree debris removed to accommodate a quick turn-around for a drive way construction project. The crew came in even earlier than scheduled and did a phenomenal job. Jake provided a level of service and communication that exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend this company.

They removed a very large willow tree for my MIL, they did a wonderful job, moved the swing set and playhouses, worked around her pool. Very professional, cleaned off the roof and gutters, even though they didn’t really need it. Would recommend to anyone!
