This is a family owned business and I have been extremely happy with their service. They are quickly responsive to questions, the work was perfect and communication was smooth from the beginning. I recently had Adam and his guys upgrade a broken down manual swing gate to an automatic sliding gate. They did a great job!
From the get go, Adam was entirely transparent about the process and cost. He even offered up a few ways I could save money without comprising quality. His bid was very competitive when compared to other gate companies in the area, but more importantly, he seemed like an honest guy to work with.

I called and e-mailed several times to get a quote. The response was "we'll get back to you asap", but nobody ever responded. Instead, I have been getting e-mails with Bejar's personal stories, tips for safety, etc. I'll have to filter their e-mails now because they obviously don't read mine and have their own agenda!

Called asking for service repair and/or quote to replace existing equipment, they gave me a date and approximate time, never showed or called. I called again and asked what happened and they said sorry, scheduling mix up, they rescheduled, never showed again - so poor rating based on them not even being able to show up, who knows what their work is like, but ill not waste my time with them again.

Adam and his team were great. Helped fix a huge problem we had when we had to replace driveway and pedestrian gate done by someone else that were not done correctly. Adam came out and was throughough and even had us come down to their office to explain more about the process. Our gates came out beautifully and everyone they recommended to finish some other minor things have been great. I recently had a repair on my gate done by Bejar Gate Co.
After an initial replacement part still presented a problem,they came back immediately and changed the part at no additional cost to me.
My gate is now working very well .
I was impressed with this companies ability to fix my gate and 'do the right thing ' for their customers.

After scheduling and meeting with 4 different iron gate companies, my luck changed when a friend referred me to Adam at Bejar Gate. Explaining my need for a gate with a weird landscape problem I had he responded with “Sure thing” and was at my property the same day to offer me a quote. We called in to get an estimate for a gate operator at a commercial property. They helped us out with an estimate and we ended up getting it installed with no hassles. I would say that their prices aren’t the lowest, but they are a very high end gate company that makes sure you’re getting the best. Very professional!!

NO STARS WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR THIS COMPANY
I feel totally ripped off by Bejar Gate Company (aka Baker Door, Inc.) While using them in the past for minor service calls, the service was marginally acceptable, but the prices seemed very high. Recently, they strongly encouraged me to purchase new gate opener units to replace the older ones. It took quite a while to get the install done, and then they had to come out again a few days later as their installer forgot to hook the unit up to the power outlet properly, so they had been running on batteries until the batteries gave out.

I can't believe the bad reviews......we've had nothing but the best service from Bejar. They initially installed our gate years ago, and whenever we've had a problem, they have come out promptly and fixed the problem. I'm sure others have had the same first rate service that we've had, but unfortunately , it's often the few that have had problems that take the time to post their reviews.

As manager of a large HOA in San Diego County, I recently needed a new gate maintenance company.
