My grandfather called to get an estimate on a patio awning. When given an estimate, my grandfather said "Thank you for your time, but I am not interested." The employee on the other line hung up and slammed the phone down so loud that I could hear it from across the room. Very unprofessional.

I was given one price on the phone but when they came out to see my flat lot they changed the price by more then $2,000 . a simple RV port on flat lot changed in price.... I think not. Bad Bad Business. Just thieves.

Buyer beware when dealing with this unethical company. We agreed to a price over the course of several phone conversations and were ready to move ahead with our RV port. When they showed up to do a site survey and the contract, the price went up by more than $2,000! There is nothing unusual about our lot....it is flat and level; in fact, the guy doing the survey commented it would be a very easy install.

Superior Awnings was fantastic and their customer service was outstanding! I bought the top of the line Traeger grill from them and the owner was very thorough and explained how everything worked. Although I was from out of town he was more than helpful and offered a fully built unit at no additional cost. These require two people to assemble. We need more businesses like them. Thank you!!!

This is the first time having to give a company a bad review but I cannot let this stand Superior Awning in Yuma Arizona not one time did they do what they said they were going to do, they did not show up to the job site on the day they said they would be there, it took them months to get the permit through, the concrete footings all cracked in multiple places, the awning leaks real bad, we have called them twice they promised to repair the leak, I also went into the office and asked them to please come and fix the leak again they promised us they would and again they did not show up. I would not

Wow, what a fantastic place. They have been in business for over 30 years and if you ever experience their customer service it is easy to understand how they have been around for so long. When it comes to grills and outdoor kitchens, stay away from the big box stores and shop local. Superior provided a better deal than we could arrange with Home Depot and sad to say Lowe's didn't even carry the same product line for which we were shopping. I will be turning to Superior for all my outdoor building and kitchen needs!

I contracted with Superior Awning because I had a very unhappy experience with Westerner Products a few years back. I hoped not to repeat that unhappiness.

My front awning blew off in a storm. Superior brought out the materials, and it is a good thing that I inspected them first, because everything was badly scratched. The worker admitted to me that the awning slats had been thrown into the back of his truck and they slid around on the rough truck bed. I refused to accept them.

Of course, that meant more waiting. The worker later brought out new materials which were fine on the top surface.

I have nothing but praise for Richard at Superior Awning. In April of this year I received my new park model from Cavco. I met with Richard at Superior Awning. I am the daughter of a contractor and the Grand Daughter of a very successful contractor. I have dealt with major home remodeling in Big Bear ,California and in San Francisco, California. Both were frought with mis-communication, delays and controversies which required absolute diligence on my part.

I tend to disagree with the first post. If I could give no stars I would. New to the area we made contact with Superior Awning to have a garage built. We signed contract for a $20,000 metal garage in Oct 14 2014 and were told we could expect construction to start in 6 - 8 weeks which would give time for permits to be obtained. (permits were approved on 11/4) The garage was completed on 12/24.. 3 months after the contract was signed. There were certainly issues to say the least.
