In 2013, our location became a design center where customers could come to browse lighting and decor, or sit down and view our entire catalog on a flat screen T.V. Our owner, Lauri Patterson, and our staff are very excited about all that we have to offer, including an array of chandeliers, pendants, sconces, and vanity lighting, as well as ceiling fans, track lighting, LED options, light bulbs, and home decor.

One Source Lighting in Billings opened in November of 2003, and in that time, we've helped countless people across Montana and Wyoming find the perfect lighting and decor. Our showroom became a design center in 2013, and customers can now come in and browse our inventory and view our online catalog.
Once upon a time, I was a married college student with two small kiddos working a part-time job in Bismarck, ND. Along came an angel in the form of a lighting showroom owner named Matt Thesing. He offered me a job, promised to work around my class schedule and pay me more than I was currently making.

It serves many functions, including providing safety, assisting in household tasks, creating an atmosphere for entertaining, and pulling together the overall design a homeowner is trying to achieve. Above all else, lighting can be beautiful, and the perfect light fixtures will bring your house to life.
One Source Lighting in Billings centers itself around the concept of multiple light sources, for both residential and commercial settings. This involves the application of task lighting, ambient (or general) lighting, and accent lighting. Multiple light sources in a commercial space can give employees a better visual balance through the use of lighted vertical surfaces and the ability to adjust the lighting levels.

We have an amazing good time here with our design consultant. She had us rolling in the aisle with laughter. She was absolutely amazing. We are very happy with the lighting choices. She was so knowledgable there was nothing she didn't know we tried stumping her a few times. Wish I was build more than one new house so I could go here again.

We contacted One Source Lighting to help with our kitchen lighting. Lauri came to the house and told me how we could greatly enhance the functionality of our lighting (and showing me just how inadequate our current lighting was!). She thought out of the box and found the perfect lights for us! When the lights went in, I was so pleased with the results. When we needed lights for our new bathroom, of course we called them again! One Source has so many more options than we could ever have found at a box store. Thanks Lauri & Cassie!!!

We ordered a couple light fixtures on march 28th and were told they would be in within 10-14 days but closer to 14 days. i waited 18 days and finally called to see if they were in and was told that they were just now being shipped out from california and wouldnt be in until friday ( this was on a monday). No one called to let us know it would be over 3 weeks for our lights to be in, and i found nicer lighting on lowes website for a third of the price and free 3 day shipping... next time we will just use lowes, they have much better service and better communication with their customers.
