Bear Air Services was established in 1991 as a family owned and operated business, and it remains that way today. For 20+ years, the father-son business has been servicing families in the Flower Mound-Lewisville area and all the DFW areas. It all started in 1984 in Chicago, IL when, Alex Bear, an immigrant from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, had a dream of owning his own business.

We had another brand of system that completely failed and the other company quoted to replace it was a lot higher for a similar system as to what Alex quoted. Alex was also able to get in and get it installed in a timely fashion, which was good since we are starting the summer season.

I highly recommend Bear Heating & Air. Our system went down on a Sunday while we were out of town. We immediately got a call back from AJ and scheduled service. He came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. We also discussed replacing our 22 year old unit. AJ was low pressure and let me know realistic best and worst case scenarios. We will definitely be using him in the future.
Edit 3/15/21: It's been about two years since our first time using Bear. As expected, our old system died on us. We talked to AJ on Friday and our new system was completely installed on Monday. Just as before

Great company. The appointment set up was easy. I received a text reminder the day before and a call when they were on the way. They came in the time frame that was stated. I replaced my ac/heating unit. AJ was great. He gave me several quotes via email and answered all my questions. He is such a great guy. I really feel he was trying to serve my best interest and give us what we need, and not trying to upsell. They did a great job. Couldn't be happier.

AJ and team did an excellent job on the install of my Bryant HVAC system. I did my homework and got 4 other quotes before choosing Bear Air Services. AJ was outstanding answering my numerous questions, was never high pressure and offered a fair price. The install was done professionally and AJ explained everything in detail. I highly recommend Bear Air Services!!

I could not get Milestone Electric out today so I gave Bear Air Services a call. My brother referred them to me. A J Bear answered my call and agreed to come out from 4-6pm. He called and arrived on time. My upstairs central air unit was not cooling. He quickly diagnosed the problem and installed a new capacitor. The price was very reasonable and he did not upsell any other services. He explained the issue I had and I highly recommend this company! Give them a try, you will be happy with your service!

I called Bear Heating & Air when I noticed the furnace in my recently purchased home acting erratically. The Technician, AJ, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable on the equipment already installed in the home, taking the time to explain in detail the troubleshooting he went through to solve the problem. In the end I decided to ask about replacing the unit since the repair would be so costly and the unit was old. He worked with me on an honest, fair price and unit for the size of my home, but I never felt pressured to buy. I did eventually opt to replace the unit, he accommodated a weekend
